It serves its purpose though as a sole owned computer, and everything is alot easier to navigate. You have a ton of squares that map out your computer screen, and near the far left corner there is a square that you can click to take you to your desktop where you will have your typical links like 'internet explorer' and shit like that.
Other things I know it comes with:
-XM radio that comes in every language AND genre.
-Built in skype.
-Built in video games link.
-A shortcut to the BING browser.
These are only some of the things it comes with. I have personally had no issue with it. It is just very different from the previous versions of Windows, and it might take you awhile to adjust to it. I like it, but that is only because I figured out how to navigate everything in like a day. I don't know if it was just MY computer, but when it was going through the installing process (NEW computer.. keep that in mind) it made me create a Hotmail account which comes complete with the new 'outlook'. Then after all of that is set up you can choose color schemes for your computer. Mine is a dark purple, and features a Crow on the main square screen, and my desktop wallpaper is a multi-colored bokeh. If you are somebody without patience, then I would suggest sticking with Windows 7. If you are somebody who likes something fancy then Windows 8 is for you. Again, experiences may vary.
