Age has affected me in that I can't drink the cheap Natty Ice, Keystone, or Old English I used to love when I was worried only about a buzz and not the taste. These days, I am very selective as the type and even brand of alcohol can determine if I wake up craving greasy cheeseburgers or the typical chicken Caesar salad. It's that same with liquor as well; I used to enjoy slamming back on some Smirnoff gin, but anything less than Bombay Sapphire these days and I am toast. Same goes for my whiskey, which is why I can't think to touch Jack Daniels, Jim Bean, or Evan Williams. I'd rather stick to Johnny Walker (black) or 40 Creek and wake up with my liver not tied in knots like an Eagle Scout was practicing with it.
