I've heard that Juanzaj is close to signing a new contract, so we'll see. He's getting game time at United (though that could well just be a ploy to get him to sign), plus he's 10 times better than Cleverly, seems more consistent that Anderson, and is only going to get better. What hope does he have of getting a game at Barca with the host of players they have? The wisest move for him would be to sign on at United. If he does decide to entertain an offer from, say, Barca, then I hope that we sell him in January and get someone in place of him in a swap deal, like Sergi Roberto perhaps (fantastic young midfielder that Barca have coming through).
To be honest, Pogpa's the only real top player we've lost. I didn't rate Zeke Fryers personally, and I couldn't see him ever being a mainstay at United, not when we had Evra playing so well at left back and young players such as Fabio and Buttner, both of whom are better IMO. Plus, Fyers hasn't played a single game of football for Spurs since he left United. What does that say about him? Morrison has been somewhat of a hit for West Ham (plus Birmingham in the season he was there), but again, I didn't see him being a top player for United either.
Top 4 is about the best we can hope for this season. I still maintain that United will be there or thereabouts at the end, given hop open the start of the season has been, but if we get top 4, I'll be happy. I certainly don't expect any trophies.
