QPR LATESTQueens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp tells the club's official weekly radio phone-in show 'London Call-In' that new signing Chris Samba has taken a "massive pay cut" to join from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala in a £12.5m deal.
Reports in some of Tuesday's national newspapers suggested Samba had signed a £100,000-a-week wage, but Redknapp said: "He was willing to take a massive pay cut because I don't think he was enjoying it over there.
Harsh people just assuming, Samba is a good lad and his family live in London as well as racial abuse. Oh going QPR? Must be for money.
