With Mata however, he can play out wide, and if he plays there for United in a 4-4-2, then he'll do well there, like Januzaj has done, not like Kagwa.
What I'm saying is, Mata gives us a lot of options. He can play wide, he can play in the middle, he can play in virtually any of the attacking positions in the team and he'll do well there. Why? Because he's that good. That's how he's different to Kagwa. The only position he can play to good effect is in the middle. Stick him out wide and he's useless (at least in the PL, since I've seen him play there internationally and for Dortmund to good effect). Also, as I said, he's not capable of playing in the PL (or he can't yet, and after this long, time's come and been for him). Mata is already proven to be a PL hit.
Mata and Januzaj are world class players (in the making in the case of the latter). They are versatile, and capable of playing different positions to good effect, whereas Kagwa isn't and can't. That's where they differ.
