WWE gets an letter wherein is said that WWE is barely above porn and how do they respond?
With and 20 minute segment, where the top babyface is bullying a scrawny heel announcer, who has been perfectly ok the last few weeks, and beat him up, uncloth him and cover him in sauce.
Fetish porn right here.
Also, effectively closing an angle from WrestleMania 27. One year later. It'll probably do a monster quarter hour though.
So this GR8 SHOW starts off with a segment where Cena comes out smiling and whatnot, basically being a goof. After an episode where Big Show took out SIX babyfaces. So Cole starts calling him out for being a goof and actually making a lot of valid points and promoing circles around the top babyface, basically saying Cena is a bad friend, an arrogant jerk and wasn't there for Big Show when he needed him, which is all true. So Cena gets the chance to pick his own opponent. Be A Star John. And of course he chooses the announcer half his size. Cole vs Cena as your main event. With Ace selling Cole out for no apparent reason and Cena should've faced consequences for mocking Johnny Ace. Again angle continuation?
Apparently the SuperBowl is on DVD.
Lol first match Sheamus vs Ziggler; basically a smackdown re-run and I mean almost exactly the same ending, but without Swagger running in. Fine match though. Vickie's sideboobs looking awesome. Sheamus gets and taste of his own cheap-shotting medicine, with ADR clubbing him from behind. Awesome armbar spot, but it looked kinda out of place, since it should've been used in a much better placement.
Johnny is surprised by McMahon showing up for a job evalution, the 2nd in 3 months, even though he outright said it himself. Also, Teddy got replaced by an other black man.
Then we get Sin Cara vs. Hunico, the second Smackdown match. Fine match. Hunico is one of the few people in WWE capable of working a fine match with Sin Cara. Totally WWE's fault.
Then we get a segment where John Cena is putting himself over.
Next up is Ryback vs. 2 jobbers, another smackdown re-run. I'm starting to think RAW is basically a stealth Smackdown raping.
It was what it was.
Then Punk vs. Kane, of course we haven't seen that one on Smackdown yet. Again a fine match.
Good acting from AJ. Potential love triangle becomes love square. Her backstage segment is also good.
Then we get a Brock Show video promo, with Show also saying he isn't an entertainer, but instead of the legit athlete Brock was, he says he is a giant. I guess the creative crew has run out of creativity. Nonetheless it was a good video. At least they are trying.
Then we get the best segment of the show. R-Truth and Kofi Kingston happily dance to the ring, while they are taped up from the beatings suffered at the hands of Big Show, last week. They face Hawkins and Reks, completely no selling the vicious beatings from the last week, which begs the question: why the fuck even bother with tape, if you're not going to even fucking sell it. King and Cole tried their hardest to cover up.
Shockingly this match was not featured on Smackdown last week. Again a good match.
Did anyone notice black ref wasn't the actual black ref we all know? This was black ref from FCW.
HHH putting himself over huge as his best moment in RAW history, of course he wears a grey suit. They need their airtime to put over hot young acts like HHH. Did anyone believe no one would cheer the guy? He was out for 9 months, of course yer going to be cheered like hell. That's wrestling 101. They also very nicely edited Benoit out of the match that was shown.
Cena segment with a swerve~! He has to beat Tensai first to get to Cole. He obviously needs his win back to stay over and to drag the segment to fully use Cena's drawing ability to get a great quarter hour rating. Cole was horrible here.
Cena vs Cole has been previously mentioned.
All in all, a decent show.
I thought it was a bad show. I'm looking forward to Impact.
