Funny you should say that about the ashes Bods because to most people here watching at home, it didn't translate to anything much besides dire and lame. I guess the energy was there live.

    What's RG3?

The crowd was hot the entire show. Which considering that it started at 6:30 says something about the DC crowd. Everybody kind of just gasped or went silent during that segment.

Robert Griffin III. Quarterback for the Washington Redskins.
I'd rather have nothing than have a lie.

RG3 was probably more over than Swagger and Del Rio combined.

    And he wasn't even there!

That doesn't surprise me at all. DC/MD loves us some RGIII. But it's too bad about Swagger/Del Rio. Their match is the only one I'm actually looking forward to.

Oh. That means nothing to me. But I appreciate it might to the DC-ites. But if he wasn't there, what do you mean? I didn't watch all of Raw.

It's a damn shame, too. Their hyping up has been consistent. We've seen both sides get the better of each other on numerous occasions and we haven't seen something like Colter in a while. Plus, they didn't have to resort to any of those stupid cliches like watching the opponent compete from behind the commentary table.

or Evil like Raven putting Sandman on a crucifix?

I only ask because Evil could be a good route for Punk, as it was for Kane... Or it could put a major wall between him and some of his die-hard fans like with Raven. I have always been a fan of people having more of an edge, but never a fan of a performer doing something that is thought to be offensive for the sake of "staying true to their art"; I know that this was just trying to add emotion to the angle but just like with the Hardcore Crucifixion having offended some of the most loyal fans of their product, I'd hate to see Punk fall victim to the same folly for the sake of getting any emotional response (including the wrong one). If there was already a moment that made you feel uncomfortable, I wonder if this transitioned to others in the arena.
