Ep 1 : CricketTragic
OMB:Folks welcome to the must see TV in all of the E feds. No not Miz TV, not Rollins Report, or Highlight Reel, however we do have a planted plant. In all seriousness, I want to thank you and welcome you to our very first episode . Backstage Pass takes you behind the ring and behind the camera and we will see your favorite guys and girls on here. No bull crap tough and fun answers.
Now today's guest is a man who has been through the up's and the down's of EWN but has come out the otherside as a better man CricketTragic. Welcome to the 1st Backstage Pass I am so pleased to have you here.
My first question is tell me about your wrestlers? Where did you draw ideas for them? Did you base any off of you?
CT: Well firstly lets get the pleasentries out of the way thanks for having me MR OMB.
I think I had between 12-15 wrestlers at one stage so I will only talk about my main ones, G-Scorp was my very first one and I would say he was me, his ring attire (And1 singlet and Baggy Shorts) was my street wear at the time and he had a rapping gimmick which I considered myself a decent rapper and even his ring entrance was based on how I would enter the ring.
The further couldn't be from the truth with Two of a Kind though, after a failed attempt at another feed I joined EWN so after G Scorp got a little over I re introduced Two Of A Kind though last team it was Kid Wonder who was very wealthy and liked to by everything and El a Money who he paid to do all the dirty work. I thought the joke was funny but no one else did so when they joined EWN I created Paul Conrad who's background was a brawler who just wanted to fight and was sentenced to 5 years jail but Kid Wonder managed his release through his connections on the condition they wrestled together. They were loosely based on my two friends only to the extent of their size, wealth (though exaggerated for e fed purposes) and how I feel their ring styles would be.
The last was Israel Pamich who was CricketTragics only creation (For those who don't know I earlier e fessed under Aloisick but due to some stupid mistakes was banned) He was angry and pissed off as I was ally the time and he was a massive heel who showed disdain for drinking, sex out of love and drugs which were my thoughts amplified by 100 (for the record I do drink but occasionally) but he never got over. The weird thing was I felt like I was doing all the right things but was being held back. Then I was asked to turn him face and I had no idea how to control a face Israel or face character of any kind but with some luck I have done pretty well with him in the end.
OMB: Lets get to the hard question one that maybe a little senstive. Lets talk about Aloisick days if you dont mind. What was the problems of that whole mishap . It's obvious that you have changed a new leaf as they say and I personally never had a problem with you as you are a friend I like to say though do you hold an animosity towards anything from the old days or do you see it as the past is the past?
CT: It can all come down to me taking this e fedding thing to seriously and not just having fun and for the most part the past is the past and guys who i have had full blown disagreemennts with I am on great terms with and even working with one of them in eyehatecena.
It all boils down to there were a few cliques in here previously and I did not fit in any of them so when my characters were not being pushed either fairly or unfairly I took that personally and i found out later there was truth in some of it but I definitely escaleted it a lot further then what it needed be.
It got to the point where I was being set up by a few people who are no longer here and I got sucked in qnd a few people who didnt quite know me then and were going on assumptions judged me unfairly so when I made the Crickettragic account Itip toed around everyone at first and then slowly showed what I am actualy about and I am not sure how many people like me but I would hope no one hated me like they did back then.
OMB: Thank you for answering truthfully, I know it might of been a bit senstive one to ask. Let's go back and talk Pamich in RTE you were one of the top guys no question about it do you feel your success has boiled over to PWR? Now coming at DoR you are set to defend your title one you have held for awhile so let me ask. Is Pamich walking out with the title? If he is or is not, who does he have his eyes set on next?
CT: Pamich was certainly in a pack of 3 or 4 who were at the top of RTE and retiring with the RTE championship was an honor though in saying that some people believed (and still might) that I booked myself in that position as Israel Pamich was the general manager for a while but I was long gone before talk of puttting the title around my waist and truth be told I didnt want the title either then or by those means but I understood as well why creative went that way.
The storylines involving Alex Wildheart, Ano Doom and Israel was fantastic and very well booked by Vandarius I felt like I finally earned a singles title it was fantastic.
Did it help my momentum over to PWR? It did in terms of how I was controlling I had a lot of confidence from that second title reign and when I was issued a suspension before I could start my PWR career (kayfabe injury) that hurt and even though the decision by the creative team was fair I still did not agree with it so when I came back it lit a firewith in Israel and I feel looking forward the suspension was the best thing to happen to Israel.
I do not believe I am walking away with the title and here is why, the PWR BreakOut title is meant to be for the wrestlers who are almost there but not quite main event calibre and my role I believe was to add prestige and meaning to this title hence why I went the respect route with Jack phoenix so had he won it would have carried on that role but Israel have held the title a while now amd there are many great e fedders who havent had a major break yet and Israel faces two of them at DoR and for that reason I feel creative will see the need to change things around and seeing as how Mr Torture has done great work and the issues surrounding his match I see a new PWR BreakOut Champion aand my prediction is it will be Antonyo Angelo
After DoR I have no clue whats in store for Israel maybe a title rematch or I move forward and challenge someone who thinks he is far more serior to me and instill a little more integrity to the roster of PWR.
OMB: Lets speak a little more about two of a kind how do you feel about them and the state of the tag divison which for awhile was critcized for its lack of depth. How do you see it?
CT: Honestly I feel Two of a Kind have been a little under utilised in PWR and thats not any knock to the previous or current creative team as I know they have the respect and were sought after but here you are with two of the top four tag teams that EWN has seen in my opinion and the tag division stayed stale for a while and I feel Extremely Lethal and Two of a Kind could have had a really well planned out long term maybe even 4-5 PPV rivalry which could have ended up with an undisputed best team in PWR and then bring in all these newer teams who could have funded with Extremely Lethal, Two of a Kind or both and would have had instant appeal with the two experienced teams building up the division.
In saying that this gauntlet match has the potential for a lot of different things to happen and I am genuinely excited by the possibilities.
The Tag Team division now is off life support and is recovering but we could still use one or two more drawing teams I have heard some rumblings of returning teams possibly at Day of Reckoning so lets hope that can come to fruition.
OMB: So let me ask you what is your favorite feud of all time in E Fed? What has been your least? What also was the favorite and least one you were apart of?
CT: My favourite fued in my time in EWN e fedding would have to be N v Tommy Thunder recently in PWR that was a great fued which escalated N to new heights in PWR.
My least favourite fued was the erotic circus, that was on JBW where all these guys were into drugs and sexual bondage etc and they drugged members to make them join it just had no point and was distasteful.
Personally my favourite fued was my old character was the recent Two of a kind v Extremely Lethal fued on PWR even though I felt a lot more could have been done, slightly ahead of Israel v Darius fued on RTE
My least favourite fued personally was Two of a Kind v The Alexander brothers in AWF only because things in that feud were set before promos started and when it was announced that our match would be a non title match I lost all all desire as that told me who was going to win already and HolyJose was great to me but that was one booking nightmare.
OMB: Well man, thank you for the sitdown now as this is called Backstage Pass lets end on our final segment The Encore . First thing is that I must say talking to Cricket I would like to thank him for his honesty which in my opinion is a huge postive with the e fed scene. Now I am going to end this with one more question to him of a music taste tell us a song that after reading this we should check out?
CT: Thanks for having me OMB it has been a great experience going down memory lane with you, you save the toughest question for last ok lets see.... I would do anything for love by Meatloaf.
