    WWE: The Future Is Now!

So after talking with THBK, I found some motivation to continue writing in the BTB section- just to give me something to do if I'm not out, at work or on a break from PWR after a PPV. I fell far behind on my previous one, and there's lots of changes that have obviously went on in WWE. Also, there's a lot of recent things they have done that I would do differently- so I'm not interesting in continuing my previous one. I'll be starting fresh, again.

The shows that I will be doing in normal style are Raw along with PPV's of course. Smackdown will be done in recap style, as there's no way that I'll have time to write fully in all shows. I will instead start with Night of Champions, in a recap style. Just to clarify though, PWR is of course my #1 priority- so I don't think shows should be expected on a regular basis.

    Night of Champions

Pre-Show: Big Show def. Cesaro & The Miz

After Big Show tried to get revenge on The Miz, Miz ran away- leading to Big Show taking his frustrations out on Cesaro instead with a KO Punch. Ever since then- Cesaro has had a grudge against Big Show. Big Show has continued his rivalry with The Miz- and during a Miz TV segment, where Big Show & Cesaro were the guests- Show vowed to put The Miz down, whereas Cesaro promised that he wouldn't let Show get away with knocking him out. This led to The Authority making a Triple Threat Match between the three men.

In the match, Cesaro had it in the bag- as he nailed The Miz with a Neutralizer, but Big Show came out of nowhere to knock Cesaro over the top rope- and stealing the pin from The King of Swing.

Match 1. John Cena def. Seth Rollins to win the United States Championship

Cena & Rollins continued their rivalry, as Cena would begin to point out that Rollins couldn't ever beat him in a fair match. Rollins would use this as anger- and he took it upon himself to tell The Authority, that he didn't want them involved in this match.

The finish for this match came when Cena nailed Rollins with an Atittude Adjustment to get the clean win, and regain the US Championship.

    Backstage Segment
Dolph Zigger was asked what it was going to take for him to defeat Rusev tonight? Ziggler said that he was a man full of anger, after everything that he and Lana have been put through by Rusev & Summer Rae- he was going to take that anger out on Rusev tonight, not only for him- but for Lana too.

Match 2. Dolph Ziggler def. Rusev

Due to the fact that Lana wouldn't be at Night of Champions to support Ziggler- Rusev & Summer Rae decided to use that as a way to taunt Ziggler. Rae would take credit for Lana's wrist injury, and claim that it was all down to her because she's dangerous- whereas Rusev would mock Ziggler, and tell him that Lana didn't love him and that's why she won't be by his side at NOC as she's using her injury as an cover-up.

The ending for this match had Ziggler hit Rusev with a Zig-Zag, but when he pinned Rusev- Rusev kicked out. Ziggler picked him up, and hit a second Zig-Zag to get a clean win.

    Backstage Segment
Seth Rollins was backstage, and he was livid about losing his US Championship to John Cena. Triple H approached him, and Rollins asked him where the hell was he? Hunter said that he thought that he didn't want The Authority there tonight? The two men argued- until Hunter said that if things go wrong, he's got a back-up plan. Rollins nodded in agreement.

Match 3. The New Day def. Prime Time Players & The Dudleyz to retain the Tag Team Championships

When Prime Time Players faced The New Day in PTP's championship rematch- The Dudleyz were on commentary, as Xavier Woods was just seconds away from nailing Titus O'Neil with his trombone whilst the referee was distracted. This led to Bubba Ray taking the trombone out of Woods' hand, and Woods fell to the ground on purpose. The referee turned around, and saw Bubba Ray with the trombone- as the referee awarded The New Day the win via DQ. This led to The Authority making a Triple Threat Tag Team Match official for NOC.

The finish for this match came, when The Dudleyz hit a Dudley Death Drop to Darren Young. However- The New Day cleared the ring, leading to Kofi Kingston stealing the win via pinfall.

    Backstage Segment
Kevin Owens was backstage, and he talked about how he has felt lost without a championship ever since he lost the NXT Championship. Owens said that tonight would be his night, and he ended the promo saying Feed Me Gold repeatedly.

Match 4. The Cosmic Wasteland def. Neville & The Lucha Dragons

Ever since The Ascension & Stardust attacked Neville to form The Cosmic Wasteland- Neville knew he had to get some back-up, and he turned to The Lucha Dragons. The Ascension revealed that they joined Stardust because they knew they would find success under his guidance. Stardust's reasoning for joining forces with the tag team was because he wanted to revitalize them so they could dominate WWE together.

The Ascension brought back their old NXT theme music before the match- and they got rid of the new gear, but kept the facepaint. The ending came when The Ascension distracted the referee, allowing Stardust to strike with a low blow to Neville. After that, The Ascension hit Neville with the Fall of Man, and Viktor pinned him to get the win for the team.

    Backstage Segment
Ryback was asked what he would do to defeat Kevin Owens tonight. Ryback admitted that Owens is dangerous, but so was The Big Guy- and his reign wasn't going to end tonight as Owens claims it will. Ryback went to continue speaking, but he was interrupted by an angry Rusev. The two men began to stare down, as Rae tried to calm Rusev down- as the pair walked off.

Match 5. Ryback def. Kevin Owens via DQ to retain the Intercontinental Championship

The Authority felt that Owens had earned the right to compete for the ICT Championship following his string of wins over Cesaro. Owens & Ryback would constantly exchange shots against each other during the build-up, with both men claiming to be better than the other.

The finish for this match came as Ryback had the upper hand- as he was seconds away from nailing Owens with the Meathook Clothesline, but from out of nowhere- Rusev interfered and nailed Ryback with a kick to the face. Rusev locked Ryback in The Accolade, and kept the move locked in until officials had to stop Rusev.

    Backstage Segment
Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns & Randy Orton discussed their match against The Wyatts. Ambrose talked about how The Wyatts took a step too far when they took out The Viper. Orton said that he wouldn't let The Wyatts get away with their brutal attack on him. Reigns said that tonight? Roman Reigns, 'The Crazy Guy' (Ambrose then looked at Reigns funny) & The Viper would knock The Wyatts down tonight.

Match 6. The Wyatt Family def. Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns & Randy Orton

As Ambrose & Reigns hunted for a tag team partner, their discussion with Orton led to The Wyatts attacking Orton. The Wyatts also attacked Jimmy Uso making things more personal for Reigns. After that, it was a no-brainer. The Viper wasn't going to let The Wyatts get away with their attack without a fight.

The ending of this match came when Ambrose was choked out by Braun Strowman- leading to Strowman pinning Ambrose for the win.

    Backstage Segment
Team Bella talked about how Nikki Bella officially broke the record, and how she was the most dominant Diva in WWE history. Nikki said that Charlotte had nothing on her. She proved it on Monday night, and she would do it again tonight.

Match 7. Charlotte def. Nikki Bella to win the Divas Championship

Charlotte faced Nikki Bella on Raw in an attempt to prevent Nikki from breaking the record- and she was about to as she had Bella locked in a Figure-8, but Team Bella got involved leading to Charlotte getting the win via DQ. This led to Team Bella having a 'Bellabration' on Smackdown as Nikki broke the record, but PCB interrupted- as Charlotte announced that she would have a rematch before talking about how it was her dream to win the Divas Championship, and she will fulfill that dream at NOC.

Team Bella attempted to interfere in this match, but that was until PCB made the save. Charlotte hit Nicki with the Natural Selection, before covering her to become the new champion! After the match, Ric Flair came out to celebrate with Charlotte.

    Backstage Segment
The cameras showed Team BAD watching Charlotte celebrate her win. Renee approached them, as she asked them how they felt seeing Charlotte win the title. Sasha went to speak- but Naomi cut in as Sasha rolled her eyes. Naomi said that Charlotte's title reign wouldn't even last long, and this Divas Revolution will truly start- when Team BAD have the Divas Championship.

    Commentary Segment
The commentators hyped up everything that had happened tonight, and also hyped up the next PPV- No Mercy which would take place October 26th!

Match 8. Seth Rollins def. Sting to retain WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Rollins & Sting had a confrontation on Raw, as Rollins was angry about what Sting did to his statue- he let Sting know about it. Sting didn't care- because the only thing on his mind was that title, and he was going to take it away from Rollins, and put an end to The Authority. Rollins attempted to blind side Sting from behind- but Sting fought back, leading to Sting locking Rollins in the Scorpion Death Lock but Rollins managed to escape as Sting stood tall.

The match finished when Rollins went for a Clothesline but Sting ducked, as Rollins accidentally hit the referee. The two men turned around, and began to trade shots until Sheamus' music hit! Sheamus rushed down the ring with his briefcase, as the two men looked on- and Sheamus raised his briefcase in the ring. He pointed at Rollins, and began to trash talk- until he hit Sting with a Brogue Kick! Rollins then screamed at Sheamus, however Sheamus left the ring and stood on the ramp. Rollins then took advantage, and he picked the referee up- before covering Sting and getting the win. Rollins celebrated with his title, as he had a staredown with Sheamus as The Celtic Warrior stood on the ramp holding his briefcase.

    News & Rumours

Night of Champions was a huge success, and management are pleased with how it went despite some decisions that people didn't agree with. The majority of internet fans felt as if Rusev should've got the win over Dolph Ziggler to advance further into the main event scene, and a lot of fans disagreed with John Cena winning the US Championship again. The response from one member of creative was 'There's always decisions that people might not agree with, but it's a win-win for everybody if there's a long-term plan in place- and that's the case for us.'

There has also been word backstage that some superstars & divas will be sent down to NXT to be repackaged. WWE officials were happy with the way that stars like Tyson Kidd & Sin Cara found some direction in NXT which transferred greatly over to the main roster, and they are hoping to do the same with superstars on the roster who they feel still have a future in this company.

Fans have also noticed how there have been changes in PPV's with the addition of Armageddon & No Mercy in replacement of Hell in a Cell & TLC. A new member of management made this decision, as he felt that big matches like Hell in a Cell & TLC should be saved for feuds that deserve it. He also made it clear that there are more changes to come with PPV's. However, there has been rumours that there might still possibly be a big stipulation match on No Mercy for a huge feud but it's unknown what it's going to be.

An interview from Daniel Bryan saw him talk about how WWE haven't made enough stars recently. Management didn't take his comments well at first, but that new member of management has managed to convince them that it was true- therefore fans should expect more main event stars being created.

And finally, the Divas Revolution clearly took the world by storm- but it hasn't been as successful as creative thought that it would be. It appears that the criticism will be a shot in the arm for management as they will create more storylines that make sense. But the fans shouldn't expect anything just yet, as management are looking to take their time for these storylines to explode.

    WWE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS REVIEW

    Nice recap before the matches

Show stealing a win from the King of Swing interesting maybe they will feud?

Besides it not being a championship match I liked it I think all matches at NOC should be championship matches but that is just my opinion
Cena over Rollins at least it was for the U.S championship and honestly Cena was a better choice for champion I don’t think it’s great when someone has two titles it takes prestige away from both belts.

Ziggler says he is angry and will take out on Rusev but will his anger be his downfall?

The answer is no The Show Off pulls out the victory over the Bulgarian Brute despite him and Summer Rae doing their best to distract him.

Awesome maybe Ziggler will be pushed?

Backstage Rollins is livid and rightly so and mouth offs to Triple H not a smart Idea

Hunter says he has a backup plan Rollins agrees but maybe it won’t be for his benefit? Only time will tell

    Great Job so far man

The new day steal the win from the Dudley’s dam it they won’t be happy neither will the PTP

Piece of advice I like stolen victories but don’t use them all the time it might make you predictable.

Owens says he feels dejected since losing the NXT Championship but tonight is his night and he wants gold again and will have it tonight.
Big words let’s see if he can make it a reality

Cosmic Wasteland gets the win via the fall of man and the Ascension go back to their old look but keep the face pain interesting does this mean Stardust will change his look to?

Ryback had words to say but was interrupted by Rusev which leads to a stare down?

Possibly foreshadowing a feud between those two it would be great to see.

Ryback had the match won but Rusev interferes and causes the DQ

Can’t wait to see these two behemoths brawl

What happened to Owen’s though? He won’t be happy about losing the match when he wasn’t even involved with the decision.

Good way to make Rusev look strong

Reigns, Ambrose & Orton say they will win and make the Wyatt’s pay

    Good strong face work

Strowman looks strong but Ambrose looses again? Would rather have seen Orton take the fall

Team Bella sound confident going into tonight’s match maybe a little overconfident

And Charlotte proves that she is destined for greatness and picks up her first championship nice job here she deserves it. Who will step up next?

Team B.A.D gives their thoughts on Charlotte but maybe not all is well in the world of B.A.D?

    No Mercy is announced awesome

Rollins wins via an unseen Brogue Kick from Mr. MITB the Celtic warrior which leads to a stare down.

Talk about out of nowhere interesting man

Great PPV can’t wait to see where you go next

Thanks for the review mate! Just gonna reply to a couple things.

I wasn't sure about having two stolen victory finishes in the same PPV, but with what I wanted to do for the characters in those matches, I think it'd make sense.

I prefer Ambrose over Orton anyday, but I think Ambrose could take the loss more than Orton can.

    Appreciate the review bro.

A recap of Night of Champions is played as it shows clips of various moments and matches that went on. The cameras cut to the arena as Michael Cole, Booker T & JBL welcome the WWE Universe to Raw! They talk about how tonight is the fallout of Night of Champions, and the next stop is No Mercy!

Seth Rollins' music hits as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring with a mic. The fans begin to boo him already, but he tells them to simmer down. He says that at Night of Champions, he lost the US Championship because John Cena managed to get a win over him. Does it annoy him? Yes. But does it matter to him? Not really, not when he has the title of the big leagues around his waist. He asks the crowd if he needs to remind them who he beat? He beat someone more important than John Cena. He defeated The Vigilante, Sting! He says that he defeated a legend.. an icon in the business- and he's proud of that. But another thing went down in that PPV- and it was the fact that Sheamus got involved. He asks what the hell was his business? He tells Sheamus that he wants to make this clear- he hates him. Always has, and he always will- but if he doesn't stay out of Rollins' way, well, maybe he needs to be knocked into reality by the world champion? The crowd reply with mixed reactions.

But Sheamus' music hits! Sheamus walks to the ring with a mic. The fans shout 'You Look Stupid' as he ignores it. He says that the feeling is mutual, he doesn't like Rollins either- but if he really wants to know what business Sheamus had out there, he'll tell him. The truth is this, at Night of Champions- after Rollins lost the US Championship, everybody thought that he'd lose the big one too. And let's not forget, Triple H said that there would be a back up plan if things didn't go Rollins' way. And let's face it, had it not been for Sheamus? Rollins would've tapped out to Sting! He says that it was Hunter who sent him out there to protect Rollins. And he could've cashed in his MITB briefcase after Rollins won, thanks to him, by the way, but he didn't because of the respect he has for The Authority. Rollins cuts in, and tells Sheamus that maybe he'll need to teach him some respect?

The two men stare off, but John Cena's music hits! Cena comes out, and screams 'The Champ Is Here!' as he gets mixed reactions. He says that it feels great being the champion again. Rollins might not care about the US Championship, and that's understandable- but when Cena was doing Open Challenges every week, he made people care about it. But since he's got a pin over Rollins, the world champion- that puts him at the top of the list to compete for the title. He wants to win his 16th world title while being the US Champion- so how about at No Mercy? We have another champion vs. champion match?!

Rollins is shouting on the mic, saying no way- but Dolph Ziggler's music hits! Ziggler comes out with a mic to a good pop. He tells everybody to hold on a second, and before he addresses the world title- he wants to let everybody know that Lana is at home resting, and she will be back soon- but she sends the entire WWE Universe her love. The crowd cheer and chant We Want Lana. Ziggler says that moving on, we've seen John Cena in the title picture for a long time now. Sheamus has the briefcase. And Rollins has been champion for 6 months! But he feels, that it's time for a change. It's time to switch things up- he's got a win over Rusev. He hasn't had a shot at the world title in ages- and the last time he remembered? Wins DO matter in this business, so how about we have Ziggler vs. Rollins headline No Mercy for the world title?

Stephanie McMahon comes out with a mic! She thanks Sheamus for his services. She says that she likes the fact that the main event scene is heating up around here. She says that Cena has a point when he says he's a viable contender for the #1 contender spot. Ziggler also has a point with his huge win over Rusev. And with Sheamus gaining momentum as of late, he's also right to stake his claim for the title. So at No Mercy? John Cena will face Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! The fans reply with mixed reactions, BUT.. we've seen Cena vs. Rollins enough times- so let's make it a Triple Threat match. Tonight on Raw- Sheamus will take on Dolph Ziggler to determine who will go to No Mercy! And she knows that Sheamus has his briefcase and all, but he's impressed The Authority enough to be put in that position- however Rollins cuts in. He asks if she's serious? Stephanie says that she's in charge, you're damn right she's serious! If he can beat Sting, he can beat anyone. Rollins looks in in disappointment as we head to commercial.

    Commercial.

The commentators recap the previous announcement, as now it's time for our first match! Big Show's music hits, as the fans boo. He makes his way to the ring with a mic. He says that at Night of Champions- he defeated two bastards that can't hang with him. The Miz was shown to be an after-thought, and as for Cesaro? He was always someone that failed to deliver. The fans boo before chanting 'Please Retire!' Show tells the fans that he's got a long way to go before his career ends. He drops the mic as he waits for his opponent. Neville's music hits as Neville comes out with The Lucha Dragons behind him for this David & Goliath clash!

Match 1. Big Show vs. Neville

Finish: Good action as Show has mostly dominated. The match comes to an end when Neville goes for a Red Arrow, but The Cosmic Wasteland appear on the TitanTron!
