Buried wrestlers who recovered to have great careers

I think of guys like zack ryder, sandow, and Kingston. Guys who went from pushed to buried. They lost faith from the front office or slipped up one time. I was curious, have there been any guys who were in jobber hell who recovered to have great careers?

When was Austin buried? I don't know much about wcw or all the backstage stories. I just started reading the dirt sheets a while ago. I know trips was buried.i was just curious how some guys rose from it.

yeah austin in wcw. He had a push as part of Paul Heymans stable and was in Hollywood Blondes with Pillman but yes he was mostly buried. Kevin Nash too, before he became Diesel in WWE. Undertaker when he went by his given name. Plenty of wrestlers i am sure had the same path. Ziggles has been buried to pushed to buried to push to buried and there are plenty more who have followed that path too.

Nash was just given a succession of doomed to fail gimmicks, he was never really buried. Vince made him a star. You aren't being buried if you simply can't find the right method to get you over. Thats just bad writing and booking. To me, being buried means you are deliberately snowed under by the higher ups.

true robstar, more so bad creative/booking. Nash, Kane etc have all had their crap gimmicks. Sometimes WWE, ECW, WWE hit gold, sometimes shit. I think overall ECW faired the best- for example the dudleys should have been a shit gimmick but they made it work. Even Al Snows shit gimmick with Head worked
