    The Undertaker's Voice

After watching the Undertaker's response to Triple H's promo on Raw, I have to pose this question: Does anyone else think The Dead Man's promos had more impact when he used the gruff, brooding voice we've come to know over the years? This "Last Outlaw" character that he has adopted must mean he has to sound like a soft spoken, weak old man. I respect the man's career. I've enjoyed all the years of entertainment he's given us. But when that guy used to say "Rest in Peace" I believed Undertaker MEANT it. Thoughts?

His promo sounds the same to me. I think his Last Outlaw gimmick is going great.

That "gruff, brooding voice" should have been poured over nachos. He always sounded like he was auditioning for a villain-of-the-week role on the now defunct, forever silly Highlander television series.

Well, The reason he didn't sound all big and bad, was because for the most part, he wasn't speaking as "The Undertaker." He was speaking as Mark Calaway. He was addressing the fans as the man, not the Phenom.

I didn't mind his change in voice. He still delivered a good promo, and thats what I like to hear.

the way he talked didn't bother me. the music didn't bother me either.

what bothered me a bit was how much he moves during his in-ring promos. to me Taker is the 1 guy that should be interviewed like in the old days, in the ring by someone.

    idk...JMO

It was from the heart, from the man. I found the promo to be pretty good & realistic. Just change that theme. lol
