I think it honestly was just his body telling him that he's becoming limited on the in-ring action he can get into. The guy stays in solid shape (considering his age, body mass, etc.) for him to wrestle as often as he does at the age of 63. I think he will be doing the wise thing from here on out and hand picking specific matches he wants to be a part of; example being this coming Jeff Jarrett match. It wouldn't make sense for him to wrestle some guys who are going to get a limited rub from him in a smaller venue, but for him to battle some of the cult classic guys from the MS region (like with Jarrett) is okay so long as he paces himself in both the matches and training.
Lawler loves to wrestle, and I am all for it if that is his choice. I just hope the heart attack was a warning that he takes proper note of before he ends up seriously hurting himself or results in his fatality.
