Thank you to everyone who showed even a just a tiny bit of concern.
Now, here's what happened: In 2004 I got into a bad accident and it damn near paralyzed my entire left side. I had ripped arm muscles that healed wrong and caused tendonitis, fractured ribs, my hips were out of place and I ended up tearing my achillies tendon (Just a bit.) Well, flash forward to 2008 after some physical therapy I started working at Walmart. That basically killed shit. I had already developed bone spurs on my ankle area and my foot didn't heal right and the spurs went into my achillies tendon... yes, bone spurs wrapped into the tendon.
Well, in 2009 I had to get surgery on my left foot because I had developed Plantar Fasciitis. I had to get the Planter fixed, my achillies tendon fixed and the bone spurs taken down. I had to relearn how to walk and all. Now, we come to 2013 and last night. I was coming in from outside recreation with the inmates, filled out all the necessary things for it then went to my podium to write in my book. I then went to sit on my stool when I went forward, trying to catch my balance, I threw my, you guessed it, left foot.
I looked down and someone took the screw out of the seat and pushed the leg of it all the way up. So, naturally, I went to the hospital because when I slammed my foot down, it felt like an explosion went off in my fucking leg. And ever since then it's been swollen, red and purple in the surgery area and feels like pins keep stabbing me when I walk. I'm in a half cast and out of work for about two weeks right now.
Needless to say, I have to go see an Orthopedic Surgeon now to see how bad the damage is and to find out when exactly I'm capable of going back to work.
