I would buy a ticket to a house show quicker than I would a televised event. I went to RAW in 2009 in Houston and to Slammiversary X in 2012 in Arlington. Both were fun events, with the PPV being my favorite of course since I sat 5th row and the in-ring action was excellent. The best part of the RAW I went to were the two dark matches (Ziggler vs. Bourne and Kingston vs. Benjamin) while the actual "show" was rather dull for my taste due to the fact that the main event was Orton vs. VKM.
As for House shows, I have been to more than I can actually remember. Each time, I have paid less than $40 for two people, ended up with great seats, and the match quality was excellent. SmackDown in Abilene of 2010 stands out because we had the wrestlers interacting with out section the entire night, which helped to make the event feel very special. I had Mike Knox and Dolph Ziggler jaw jacking with me in the 3rd row and all the kids around my section were having the time of their lives, especially during the main event of JoMo and Edge vs. Punk and Jericho.
