They've cut Joey Ryan, a guy who has a lot of potential, while kept Sam Shaw who's barely been used at all since he got signed.
    Makes ZERO sense.
Crimson and Ryan were probably the only ones worth keeping.

Problems with Money, and Al Snow making promises he can't keep.

TNA is releasing folks.. but plans on bringing in 'past and future' X-Division stars for Destination X.

Just me, but considering Clark didn't post a source link, I'd view that with a grain of salt.

so Gutcheck has been going for over a year, quite a few have been signed from it, but they kept 2 of them? I liked Christian York, I really did, but to be honest, I like Sam Shaw better, he fits in the X-division, and I hope that they do keep him and do something with him. But with all of this being done, why keep Gutcheck going? it seems unnecessary at this point, have a sloppy match on Impact between two indy rookies, have 5 minutes the week after to sign/not sign one of them, and then they get released anyway? Seems really pointless.

On another note, I think that Jay Bradley's prior storyline of him getting into the BFG series saved him, if anyone else had been written to win that tourney, they would have been excluded from the cuts as well. I'm not saying Bradley is bad, I'm just saying that he caught a very lucky break with this one.

I'd say Hendrix and York were too, considering who they've got on their roster.

    What a mess.

As for the second thing, Dixie Carter said that on Twitter, I'd take that with a VERY big pinch of salt.

Someone had to be the fall guy in the BFG.

Doubt they'll do much with him after the series.

    Crazy...smh
The IWC is to TNA what the Republicans are to Obama: No matter how much good they do...as soon as they're shown to be less than perfect, the other claims that they just can't get anything right.

    True.

But I'd still pick Ryan and Crimson over the two of them.

Not saying that he got some sort of push, I'm just saying he didn't get released.

Secondary note: just waiting for Rockstar Spud to be released....

For sure. I mean Ryan especially I'm really scratching my head at.
