I'd like to see Ricardo Rodriguez pushed as a serious wrestler and teaming with Alberto Del Rio.
Christian and Chris Jericho could be paired together as a team. One could argue that both men would be better served as singles stars, but their selflessness and willingness to put people over will make people care about the tag division.
Push Alex Riley and team him up with The Miz as a face team. Riley needs something to do and Miz doesn't seem to be going back into the World Title scene any time soon.
The reason I say this is because the Shield are getting pushed so hard that the only way anyone will get the belts off of them is to pair a super team together. HOWEVER, that only means the tag belts will continue to be stuck in limbo. My idea is to pair and uppercard guy and a lowercard guy together. Put together one guy who is credible enough to beat the Shield and one guy who is low enough on the ladder to possibly lose to one of the "real teams", and you have a perfect team to transition the belts out of the main event scene and into a position where more teams can challenge for it.
If you put Miz and Alex Riley back together, and have them defeat the Shield for the titles, Miz's role as the star of the team would be to give Riley a small rub and a slight credibility boost. Riley's low card status serves to keep Miz "in check" and keep the team from becoming too dominant and over-powered.
Also turn Zack Ryder heel (he seems like he wants it), and put him back together with Curt Hawkins. If neither guy is going to get a solo push anytime soon, just use them as a tag team.
