They play violent movies all the time one of which is Terminator where a girl is constantly being attacked by a man. When someone like Madden makes a federal case over something this trivial, it means nothing to me bc he has zero credibility. As for Hemme, the girl was in playboy, has been in multiple story lines with sexual content I just don't get it. Not to mention she made a rediculous mistake with the intros and it's mistakes like that, that make TNA look minor league. Had she made that mistake working for Vince, she would have been greatful for a crotch in the face as a punishment. I can't imagine how Vince would've reacted.
he did it because she fucked up his name what she has done in the past really has nothing to do with it yea he is playing a heel but he took it too far just got carried away. the news article says he went to her and said sorry and she accepted

If he went up to her and apologized, then I would agree it was a harsh punishment. If she accepted an apology, then straight away registered a complaint with management, I can see her being driven out. Wrestlers always tend to stick together, if backstage stories are to be believed. Sly actions like this are rarely well received because you are there to "look out for the boys" - even the girls. Nobody will trust her as she will be seen as a bit of a grass, going behind people's backs.
If he didn't, then he deserved it unfortunately.

I just watched the incident and i'd say it's over the line. From reports, I thought he "thrust" at her face! He climbed on the turnbuckle whilst she was cornered in it. It's as minor as that. Bit of an over reaction - but i'd assume Spike pressured TNA as soon as hemme's comment appeared on twitter playing it up.
Like reports say, he apologized later. If this is true, then it's definitely a bit extreme. It does sound like TNA proactively followed this up - as they also asked Hemme if she had an apology, to which she said yes and confirmed she was satisfied with his apology.

Ask yourself how you would like to be in Hemme's position and have someone back you into a corner before climbing up and standing with his nuts in your face. Then ask yourself again if anyone over-reacted.

I don't for one minute think that Aries intended to sexually harass anyone, in fact I think he was just getting on with his usual corner pose while Hemme was 'trapped' there but in the eyes of the law if she makes a complaint then he's done for. It's one of the things that annoys the hell out of me when laws designed to prevent harassment are used to punish someone for a one off lapse of judgement but that's the way it goes. As Bodom said in the other thread (I paraphrase) there's not a single other industry where you could put your nuts in a colleague's face and not get fired. (Anyone who mentions porn at this point is both an idiot and missing the point)

To anyone who mentions the fact Hemme posed for Playboy, has been involved in sexual storylines, dresses provocatively, should know what to expect etc: Get a fucking clue! Just because a woman chose to do those things on her terms, at a time she's happy with (Playboy was years ago) doesn't make her fair game for lewd comments, pawing at or, in this case, being put in a threatening position with someone's genitals in their face. While we're at it: No means no! I don't care if Christy Hemme spends her spare time giving blow jobs for $5, if she's not ok with something happening it's her right to complain.

I agree that the law is an ass and that this has blown up into a bigger situation than it should be but that's neither Aries' nor Hemme's fault.

And finally, Big Body B, if you can't see the difference between the Terminator - a film with actors playing pre-written parts with stunt doubles, special effects and multiple takes and this - a wrestler ad-libbing, berating an announcer, backing her into a corner and standing with his nuts in her face, in front of a live crowd, then you really need to learn fast.

    Divas to believe in.

ok the crux of the problem here is Consent, consent changes EVERYTHING. if they do a story line that has one person sexualized and objectified or intimidated even if the actual actions are improvised then the wrestlers/ actors have given consent and from my experience in the theatre and what i know of wrestling there will usually be a whole " hey i thought of this" before hand if not and it goes to far there will be a conversation in the back and that's about it. This wasn't about a storyline, this was a man intimidating a woman over a mistake, i fully believe he didn't mean to harass or intimidate, however he A) took it too far, and B) went sexual with it... without the balls to the face it's a jerk move but something that is not going to push the hot buttons, however how it played out Especially with what has happened regarding rape and harassment nationally lately, it needs to be addressed, publicly severely, and decisively Hemme was satisfied with the apology, good on her... but the company needs to deal with it beyond the two of them. he made a mistake but it was a pretty severe one because he compromised the safety one performer feels in the workplace.
just because i didn't agree doesn't mean i didn't listen, it just means you were wrong. Now go away please.

This is fairly simple. If you put your genitals within a foot of a co-worker's face. and they don't like it, you get in trouble. They call that sexual harassment. Don't believe me? Next time you go to work, hop up on a chair and dangle your nuts in front of a co-worker, see what happens. Make it easier on them, give them a chance to get away that doesn't involve trying to duck under your crotch and go between your legs. Afterwards you will have plenty of free time to reflect on the ever-changing standards of society.

Say my name and his in the same breath, I dare you to say they taste they same.

This is why I imagine you to be the creepy dude in real life who thinks putting crotches in a women's face is funny.
