Green Lantern was fucking awful. It had one of the worst scripts I've ever had the misfortune of being subjected to, and the only time it was even remotely watchable was when things were taking place on Oa. Even then, it was like watching the cut-scenes to a videogame that I have no interest in playing.
In good movie news, I highly recommend the under-the-radar comedic gem Cedar Rapids. Ed Helms is sort of brilliant in it, seemingly channeling a bit of Tom Hanks' fantastic work in Big. The supporting cast is really good, too, and while somewhat vulgar and occasionally offensive, it has an undercurrent of sweetness that permeates the whole shebang. In regards to it, a lot of critics were tossing around the phrase of Capra-esque, and I'd say that that's a fairly appropriate comparison.
