Like I said Shieky, to each their own. I hope your undying faith that Bay will pull this off is justified in the end, but there are a few things that I can't allow "wiggle room" on for stories that are dear to my heart. It's similiar to my views on the movies made of Verne's works. I loathe them, yet I was able to enjoy the newer versions of his works (Journey to the Center and Journey 2: Mysterious) because they didn't blatantly try to remake the specific works into films and butcher the entire works in the process. They adapted into new stories while remaining true to the original bodies of work. As I state in the majority of my posts, this is simply my opinion, but with topics of things I tie into the actual "good" parts of my childhood, I am a bit more passionate about.
