Give [REC] a watch. Trust me, that will wash the found footage bad taste right out of your mouth.

[REC] is a particular favourite of mine. This is what annoys me so much about films like V/H/S and Paranormal Activity, they are destroying a good film genre with their half arsed, boring, badly written twaddle.

No love for DiCapiro? I thought he was far better than Waltz as the supporting actor in Django. (Not that Waltz wasn't great)

I loved Waltz a lot but felt like his role was a little to close to Inglorious Bastards but DiCaprio and Jackson killed it in Django.

On a side note, has Jackson's best parts (excluding voice acting) been in QT movies or is it just me?

Well to me his best role was in Pulp Fiction but other then that I'm not really a Samuel L Jackson fan.

Oh I also liked him in Coach Carter, but I just have general love for that film anyways.

Really surprised Bigelow did not get nominated for Best Director, same with Hooper but I guess since they are both recent winners, they wanted to give someone else a chance. Nice to see Amour get recognition thought, it was one of my favorites this year.

I finally watched Lawless yesterday & wasn't disappointed. I'm a big fan of Tom Hardy & love seeing him as a badass. I thought Guy Pearce did a really good job of making you hate him. The rest of the cast was great too. This was the first movie I've watched on Blu-ray so I was very impressed with the quality!

On another note: Is Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy worth watching? I was completely bored with the first 15-20 minutes but I've considered trying again.
