Well you're assuming there that I've seen that movie of course, which I haven't. So given that fact, then yeah, it is kind of hard to believe
But I'll put that on my 'to watch list' for sure.

Finally got around to watching Django Unchained & as always, Tarantino didn't disappoint.

I read that Val Kilmer's turn as Doc Holliday in Tombstone was one of DiCaprio's influences in this movie. As a HUGE fan of Tombstone I must say that I definitely saw that.

SN: I'm in the process of writing a western screenplay that I'll probably complete this summer if anybody might be interested in reading it when I'm done. I'm not expecting it to be earth-shattering, I just enjoy it.

    I'll read it!

I didn't know that about Leo channeling Val. I loved that role, movie. "Evidently Mr. Ringo is an educated man. Now I really hate him!" Great stuff

Yea, I saw some signs of it during the movie & when I saw that trivia bit it really clicked. I watch Tombstone probably 5-10 times a year. I still think Waltz stole the show in Django though.

And if you're serious about reading that screenplay, I'll send you a PM when it's done. School is over for the summer for me after next week so I'll have more free time to work on it.

I didn't assume anything. Just pointed out the inherent flaw in being surprised that so and so didn't win such and such award while being completely unfamiliar with their competitors work in the same category.

For me, Amazing Spiderman 2 is the best Spiderman movie till date.
Great performances from Emma Stone, Dane Dehaan & Andrew Garfield.
