Or maybe unify the titles? Since ROH kinda doesn't have TV anymore
I'd rather have nothing than have a lie.

I don't know how I would feel about another title unification... Even without the TV deal, I feel the huge number of shows they put on and the growing roster warrants the need for a secondary singles title. God knows their midcard is pretty sketchy right now and some talent are in need of some major pushing - title belts are always a good excuse for a casual scrap/feud, I guess.

Assuming they don't strike another TV deal elsewhere, I think renaming the title would be more appropriate at this point. (Jr. Heavyweight Title? Straight-to-DVD title? Pure Title resurrection?)

I wasn't a massive fan of the TV show anyway. Nothing like a three hour show, full of competitive matches, to satisfy my wrestling cravings. I guess RoH on HDNET was a case of getting what I wanted but being disappointed with the final product. It was the same when ECW debuted on TNN, and put out one lacklustre show after the next. I'm just nitpicking though. The wrestling on HDNET was awesome, it's just that the product wasn't/isn't the same as it was a few years ago.

But yes, they probably should do a unification match, and I can't think of two more suitable RoH candidates for the job. Anyone but Daniels, that guy should be reserved for the "legends" matches, or at the helm of The Prophecy, prommoting the next big thing in RoH.

I was thinking the same thing about the Jr Heavyweight or the Pure title. Obviously not the Straight to DVD title.... Funny fucker

A Jr Heavyweight title (or a similarly themed title) would change the landscape of the company, as, let's be honest, it basically is a Jr Heavyweight league anyway. It would also alter the way they hire new talent, and the "Jr" wrestlers on the Indy scene are some of the most exciting wrestlers to watch. Pure wrestling is my thing, but I absolutey love to se a guy flipping around the ring trying to break records in rotations, and coming up with the most unbelievable (ambiguity intended) moves possible.

I almost didn't post "Jr. Heavyweight" for that very reason. In a way though, it wouldn't surprise me if that would happen as a tribute to NOAH or something.

Pure rules matches varied quite a bit in quality from what I've seen. They have a nice psychology to them, but I found some of them (especially during Nigel's reign) a little too slow/ chess-game-like.

In other news, here's what Sapolsky has been up to recently:

Upcoming DGUSA and EVOLVE iPPVs! (Hopefully FIP too... I haven't really seen a FIP show, but I have seen most of the Roderick Strong vs. Erick Stevens feud (it's awesome))

PAC vs Akira Tozawa should tear the bloody house down!

I just hope the "Women of Honor" matches last more than four minutes this time.
