Really enjoying since the February restart, hope Andrea dies soon though. She's been pissing me off for too long!

Anyways, the first half of the third season started off really strong, but the first three episodes of the back-half of this season have reverted to the wildly uneven trudge of seasons 1 and 2.

I have to disagree, thought they were brilliant episodes, especially episode 10 with the prison fight. The one thing that I've wondered since day 1 is how they will end the series.

Are you talking about The Governor driving the truck full o' zombies through the gate? Yeah, that one sequence was great, but that hardly accounted for the whole episode. I mean, there were over 40 minutes of other stuff to get through, and it was all poorly-written filler. And that's exactly what I'm saying when I'm referring to the show being wildly uneven. The show gets good in fits and starts, but it struggles to consistently maintain any real sense of momentum (the first half of season 3 came close, and that's why it was such a marked improvement over everything that came before it).

These theories made me realise that people idealise that in the event of the apocalypse (nature of which: Pending) people imagine that there will be (or need to be) an antagonist or something to be up against. The reality is much more likely that your challenges will more likely be the pursuit of food, shelter, fuel and health. Not zombies.

Zombies are a bit like vampires and witches. A cute, romantic notion added in for colour. Only thing about zombies is there's a minutely slight chance they could exist in one form or another. And for certain, The Walking Dead would be one boring show without them!

Now, you can discuss your favourite show in here, post spoilers and whatnot. I don't watch it, never have so......seeyas!
I think people is fascinated with zombies because they represent many fears the humans have: Sickness ,rot, death, fall of society etc.

Besides it's the perfect outlet for violence, you can kill zombies with a chainsaw or blew up it's head with a shotgun and no one will argue about killing a souless undead monster

Tonight's episode was one of a handful that was genuinely deserving of the praise that people like to slather the show with. Laser-focused, well-written, and freakin' character-driven. Hell, they even showed a little bit of the Michonne that I came to love in the books, which was a refreshing change from the scowling, one-dimensional caricature she's been up until this point. Really good stuff. So good, in fact, that I almost wish that Rick, Carl, and Michonne would have just driven off and left the rote melodrama of the prison and Woodbury in their rear-view.

Yeah I thought it was good too, genuinely shocked the dude from season one was there. Liked it though!
