You mean, AIC without Layne? Lol, yeah I heard some but didn't really immerse myself into it. I was into other stuff by then too. I admit Layne was a huge drawcard for me liking AIC.

No, when I get home it's time with the family. I don't spend time online unless it's a last minute change to a fantasy football lineup due to injury or something. My time with my family is just that and I can't spend time on EWN and focus with them. Just part of the way I am programmed I guess.

I loved AIC... This song helped me when I was in a bad place and always reminds me of my son (his oldest mother wouldn't allow me to see him for about 2 years in 2003-05 until I had money to go back to court and the police made her)

How could anyone forget Tool's rise to fame in the late 90s? They were the band that had me completely obsessed with the work they produced

Offspring had the first albumn my mother ever banned in my house. This was the song that the albumn is remembered for (although Come out and Play was the first song I heard)

I have to add this cult classic that made my ear drums bleed

We're talking about this stuff and not AIC 2.0, yeah?

I don't know why but I had an unnatural hatred for Blue. Smash was an ok album, better than all their later shite. As for Tool, I'll forever be indebted to them for introducing me to Bill Hicks.

Yes mate, that stuff, the Boggy Depot albums. I found it wasn't much of a departure.

I know I'll cop shit for this but I hated Tool. And Blue was mindnumbing.

Haha, DRG, was that because of the song Bad Habit that it was banned in your house by any chance?

One of my mates had I'm Blue on constant play for months, took all my willpower not to punch him.

Right on. It definitely sounds like lesser-Alice In Chains (which is still better than AIC 2.0, imo).

I'm not a Tool fan, either. The adoration thrown their way is lost on me.

I do like a couple of Perfect Circle songs, however.

I understand why people fell off the Tool bandwagon, but they were a hot commodity here in Texas for a LONG time. As well as Pantera, but that's because they were from Texas

Here's another few songs that I remember vividly in my time in the 90s

One of the first concerts I went to featured The Refreshements. Here's the song that I remember them for the most

I used to love this song when I was younger. Still think it's nice to hear once in a while

I used to jam this band and thought Shirley Manson was smoking when I was 14

Not many got behind this band but I loved them when I was younger. Here's their most popular song

This is the version of Tool I liked, never got into the whole "OMG he's a genius" thing, but I like this song a lot.

Now, someone I did fall into the group in calling a genius, Trent Reznor.

Say my name and his in the same breath, I dare you to say they taste they same.
