I never said she was a good actress. She just has good facials. During her whole angle with Daniel Bryan her facial expressions were really good and really helped in getting over the angle.
So, to you, facial expressions have nothing to do with acting? Um, ok I guess? What I'm saying in that regard is that if that acting seems good to you then I suppose Wizards Of Waverly Place would be like, Oscar material for you. Because that's the level AJ is at - facials and all.

It's a part of acting. Again, you come with the acting. She just has good facials, that's all, not her overall acting ability. It's actually the same with Vickie Guerrero. Her delivery is good, but I wouldn't call her a good actress.
I've never seen Wizards of Waverly place, nor do I know it, but I'll just assume it's bad.
But if that's true and that is AJ's level, it says more about the level of acting in the wrestling business, in particular WWE, than my knowledge of acting.

All I'm trying to say is that the two things - acting & facials - are not mutually exclusive. If we were to say they were in the same family, they'd be siblings rather than distant cousins. Facials + dialogue + body language = acting.

But yes, WWE's acting level = ham.
Noun 1. ham actor - an unskilled actor who overacts; An incompetent actor who over plays and is incapable of subtility. An over-actor

With a few (very few) exceptions, this is what is on offer. I'm not ever going to say AJ's the worst. I just for the life of me cannot comprehend why people will insist that she's good.

Yeah, I completely agree with that, that's why I said she isn't a good actress, she's just good at 1 aspect of it.

Yeah, subtlety is a rare trait in WWE.
But maybe it's just that you compare her to actual actors and actresses, where as I compare her to the rest of the roster?
I was never clamoring for her to leave WWE and pursue an actual acting career. She's just good at facials in the WWE, at least she was during the Bryan angle. Now she is overacting a lot.

Aaaaaah you have me there Auto. She's fine for the WWE universe as I said. But my reaction is in reaction to the reaction () of fans about her ability. Some, not necessarily saying YOU, but some laud her ability as if she's curing bloody cancer or something! I mean, come on! She sells well for wrestling but thats about where it ends. So, I guess, yes it's not AJ I'm shitty at - it's certain fans And what makes me more frustrated is that pretty girls can get away with giving SO much less than someone who looks like say.........Vvvvvvvviscera? Lol, no I mean Vickie of course. I really hate that attitude

Methinks there's too much overthinking this on the forum. They really needed to get AJ out of the GM spot and wanted some kind of quick excuse. Sounds like one of those "patented" wrestling things where none of the writers gave it any long-term thought, with hopes the storyline will fall between the cracks soon enough and be forgotten by the vast majority.

They have a busload of higher priority angles and finishes to worry about at the moment, so "What to do with AJ" likely got minimal thought.

I wonder if this story will involve a result that I have been looking for.....Dolph Ziggler somehow cashin in the briefcase for the WWE championship. Technically he still has that option.

AJ's all fine and good but she's no more talented in any area than Layla. The people who openly oppose this story arc should come out and say what they truly think - that they would much rather the conventionally attractive AJ on TV and doing the GM "job" because she's easy on the eye - despite the fact that there's nowhere really left to run with her there.

Guys.....do you know, are you even aware how stupid so many of you sound when struck dumb by some tits and ass? Seriously, it's something that's become apparent to me on here, you're talking to someone who seems to be pretty bright and switched on and all of a sudden they're like..."aaaaahhh deerrp, duh. Pwetty!" Fuck. Me. Dead. lol You swap any example of something Vickie is involved in and put AJ in there and half you virgins would be falling over your porno collections to give kudos to AJ where you would criticize Vickie. Meanwhile, when this past week people were saying "this again?" about Vickie as 'interim assistant to the GM of making cups of decaf' or whatever, I bet the reaction would be markedly different if they put AJ in the job again. Because it's different then, right?

And why? Because she doesn't have a head like a smashed crab. (yeah I said it) Talk about shallow fellas.

This is good for AJ. The stupid GM thing is done and dusted and look! She gets thrown straight into a storyline with two of the top 5 personalities in WWE - Cena and Vickie! Throw in a few cameos from Vinny Mac and I'd say she's not doing too bad.

But overall, I think the angle is slightly farcical. "Oh we just had dinner together!" What a crock. Fucking soapie writers

    And that's my 55 cents
I knew you would take a shot at the geek goddess
but on a serious note I agree with what your saying. not for all the same reasons but in general your right... aj was a boring gm, I'm not saying that's her fault but the fact is that she was boring. now she gets the top face personality to back her while the top heel personality attacks her, if that's not a push I don't know what is

Don't be surprised if she peaks here. WWE seem intent on squeezing all the juice they can out of AJ (I can just see dozens of EWN-ers running for the bathroom to squeeze their own lemon at that thought!) A diva who gets storylines with superstars is very fortunate - as soon as she starts "competing" as just a diva again, she'll slot naturally between the standard diva interest of "well I guess I gotta piss" and "No, I'm just resting my eyes, I'm not asleep"
It's just the way it is I'm afraid.

I personally don't think she has peaked. at this point they have pushed her for a while and she is only in her mid 20's... she has potential to be a major character if pushed correctly... why waste that? they already wasted eve's a while back... ahah
