They didn't go into the crowd like I thought they would, but they used every bit of workable area around and in the ring for this one. When Storm hit that Last Call, I got goose bumps and that says a LOT for someone who has become so de-sensitized by wrestling.
Aries and Hardy would have been in the talks for MOTY if not for one thing; Hardy winning. He might not be my favorite, but Hardy put on a GREAT match with Aries. There top rope hurricarana was amazing to see, and Jeff sold the fact that Aries was doing massive damage. Aries made Hardy look like a million dollar bill and was on the tip top of his game. I cringed when Hardys head hit the lip of the ramp on that between the rope neck breaker, and I actually screamed "BULLSHIT!" at the TV when Hardy kicked out of the Brainbuster. This match had me at the edge of my seat from start to finish and with these two, I actually had a difficult time "knowing" who was going to win instead of just "thinking I knew". If you haven't seen this match, FIND IT. The Phoenix crowd helped to make this one of the most memorable matches of this year.
