I really liked the working the leg tech story style of the opener, was about to crap all over it when I saw the 1 2 3 of the countout when I was just glancing at the start.
Great opener though, with only a few consistency spots, if that (Draymens grabbin his leg yellin one second, then jumps up and kicks him the next.)
Heel commentators, I would say, should def be toned down. It seemed like the constant over the top arguing, was the par for commentary all night. Too much is bad, but middle is perfect.
Interesting back and forth between S and D Ry, either competition coming, or Big Smoke's fired...Either way, I'll be checkin.
Black And Wells was a good classic story of doin what you can to overcome the bigger man. Ivankof, will NOT be happy with the outcome, though.
While Diamond wasn't bad, I felt it was entirely too long for a backstage inteview. Sometimes, less is more, homeboy.
Classic H-Cap next, with the story of every time an opening is there, it's stolen by the other opponent. Was a bit brought down though, by the story of working the leg coming back up again so soon.
Blue and Pink was good, almost, Dare I say it, Sweet and romantic.
Interesting finish to the T threat Endurance, but fuck Diamond. Go after the belt first and foremost, IMO. I understand he just tried to cost you the match, so it's a big deal...But don't just RUN OUT on a match.
Got to love that Laymen heel turn brotha. Shout to the young boy for the future and what he does with it.
I loved the Lab Report end to the EL, great focus shown when it counted.
The following match though, seemed to be a bit short, especially for a end to a best of seven.
Nice no sell of the Ankle Lock , Ben.
Interesting fix of the known hated choice of Double H in the turmoil. Obviously Kfab deserves a good push in the match, but to have the brand new team, be the first homies gone, is not the best way. I'd say start the match with dif dudes, to protect them both.
That was hard hitting, constant action too, though. Kfab looked somewhat strong for actually not tapping.
Rap battle, while interesting, VK was the clear winner lol.
Good resiliency by Athena to kick out a Diving DDT. Liked the bit of problems between K and Dixon.
Unsure on that Kyojin promo, Was not terrible, and also not great.
Would have liked to see a bit more from the Hawk and Note, especially after all the IC buildup...Why is Mike confused at the end? Was he not watching? Note reversed a crossbody, then got rolled up before he could capitalize.
I really liked what my homie SJ did with Archer, especially for the first time reading a promo from him. (Yes, I missed the past shows with him and Gatling.)
Ano Doom debuted a new theme last revolution, that wasn't used here. Minor detail though. This is where it gets hard in this review though....In such a heated, personal feud, and as much as I was looking forward to this match...I know how it will look being my match, but it really didn't live up to expectations, at all. For one of the most hate filled feuds, it was one the shortest matches. It seemed to end just as soon as it started pickin up steam. I also understand Smith wanting to get it over with and taste redemption ASAP, but it just seemed like it should have been so much nastier and more of a brawl.
Typical Vivica stuff there with the promo.
Was a good, hate filled Vanity title match there. Loved the Juno moment at the end. Been calling it for months now, though.
Interesting promo from Shaz that makes you wonder where he goes from here after the end of his match.
Entirely too short for a world title match, let alone , at least what I would call, co-main event. Great for what it was though, just needed more.
This stooge Cpt Amazing, lol.
GREAT IWA title match, but I'm also unsure about there being two champions..I guess Asher's really high up with creative, lol. You know what, scratch that. It's great and opens up so much more, and we get more BB drama, which tag team trouble is classic.
