This was basically made to help new people with indys, and to start a discussion on overall GREAT shows and DVDs

Mentioned this a few times on some older threads, but IWA-MS Ted Petty Invitational 2004 is probably the greatest indy DVD of all time. Two nights and nearly ten hours of runtime. And just look at that tournament field!

Other decent tournaments, which I reckon would make decent indy primers: wXw's 16 Carat Gold 2007 is another great indy wrestling tourney, (if you can put up with the German commentary) as is TPI 2005 and The King of Europe Cup.

Not much other shows are coming to mind just now because I'm sleepy... but there's always that one Best of PWG DVD and that one ROH show had Marufuji-McGuinness and Danielson-KENTA on the card.

And I'll just leave this here...

AJ Styles, Alex Shelley, Arik Cannon, Austin Aries, BJ Whitmer, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Chris Hero, Chris Sabin, Claudio Castagnoli, Danny Daniels, Hallowicked, Jimmy Rave, Matt Sydal, Mike Quackenbush, Nate Webb, Nigel McGuinness, Petey Williams, Rainman, Roderick Strong, Salvatore Rinauro, Samoa Joe, Super Dragon & Todd Sexton

There's a guy selling Vol. 1 for £6 GBP HERE, if he ships to America yer laughing. Also, since the Sells Out DVDs apparently have a national distributor behind them, I heard that they occasionally turn up in mainstream US outlets like Best Buy. Might be worth keeping an eye open... or just pirating that rare shit and focusing on getting the $5 PWG shows from Highspots instead.

Oh, and speaking of PWG, they have an annual winter sale (around October-November) where you can buy 5 DVDs for $40, which includes the latest releases.
