I give Glover Texiera a good chance of putting Jon Jones to sleep tonight. Should be good.

Jones fought well in this fight. He's a good fighter, possibly great. But I distinctly recall in the Gustaffson fight, he looked scared and off his game and I'm not sure if that was Gustaffson or something to do with Jones that night but as far as I have seen - and I've seen most of Jones' fights since he became champ - he runs hot and cold. I think some fighters get into his head and put him off his game. I liked the Jon Jones of this last fight because it was him back to that unorthodox style of fighting he does so well. The problem is that much like GSP became, although they are both clearly superior fighters, the championship becomes a burden because they are fighting to keep it. They have so much more to lose. So sometimes they fight safe, which made GSP so ordinary to watch towards the end. Anyway, that was a true championship effort and I hope to see a rematch with Gustaffson and then Cormier.

In any case, the Jon Jones style will be the future of MMA fighting, you can bank on that.

I totally agree with everything you said. That's exactly what I've been thinking . Gsp especially, and the way that Jon jones fights people will consider it "the formula" on how to get to the top . Watch how many riders are gonna speak about him after at least 1 more title defense

I saw reports claiming Jones did not take the Gustaffson fight serious and did not train as hard as he should have. I find that kind of hard to believe.

I hope Hendo beats Cormier and gets the title shot.
