There has been no word if this will happen or not, especially since GSP's recent injury, but I'm not ready to rule it out yet either. I don't expect this dream fight to happen this year, however we may get a break in negotiations early next year between the two camps, and an agreement may be reached. Silva has publicly stated that he doesn't want to fight Jon Jones, while this would be another dream fight, and Jones's camp is willing to let Jones fight Silva, this particular match up is very unlikely unless Dana forces it to happen.
GSP vs. Anderson Silva may happen sooner than we think, but getting everyone on the same page to make it happen is another story. We want it, Dana White wants it, GSP stated that he'll fight anyone the UFC puts in front of him and Anderson Silva has yet to make a public statement concerning GSP. The more people that contact Dana White and Joe Rogan @ the UFC demanding that they try harder to put this fight together, the sooner we can see it. If it does come to fruition, the match will be held in either Canada or Brazil.
