I read in most the newspapers that it was meant to be Coldplay headlining the night, but I was VERY pleasantly surprised that it was The Who! I like Coldplay, but The Who are one of my favorite bands, and to see an old school British band closing it all was awesome!

Although I really don't like Russell Brand, his cover of 'I am the Walrus' was actually pretty cool. Really enjoyed that.

    I want Bryan May's Jacket.

Moment of the night has to be seeing Boris Johnson jiving away in the crowd to the Spice Girls! I laughed so hard at that my sides were hurting! I hate the Conservatives, but i can certainly make an exemption for Boris! He's a freaking hero!

All in all, a fantastic end to a great Olympic Games!
How where the girls? It's just starting over here! 8 year old me is geeking out! lol

As many of you know, I'm statistically OCD, and I've gone completely overboard on this olympics. Basically, I think the way they ordered the medals table is so primative, it's basically "most golds wins" so I've spent hours ordering the nations my way.

Basically, I've taken the results of every single sport and taken the top eight competitors, and given them the following points 20-15-10-6-4-3-2-1. I've then totalled up the points for each country for each sport, and then allocated the top ten nations in the sport overall points 20-15-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. Then I've added up all the totals to get the overall order. It was quite a project. The advantages were that all the sports now have the same weighting, while using the olympic system team sports are worth next to nothing. It also takes into account athletes who have done well (silver-8th) instead of just focusing on wins.

For anybody who is statistically minded like me, here it is

Bloody hell Rob. Well done. How long that take you?

And the closing ceremony I thought was awesome. I personally enjoyed Russell Brand, George Michael, Queen, the Freddie Mercury and the John Lennon videos the best.

I've had an awesome week in London, had tickets to the Olympic stadium for the last 4 days, including the Closing Ceremony.

Had the chance to meet a fair few of Team GB too. I'll never forget this week.

    Greatest Olympics Ever.

This is one of the few pics I bothered to take, this was from my first day in the stadium when I was sat with the 'ordinary' people!
