"Disgrace" Orton won't be oorahing in Marine 3.

A rep for WWE tells us, "WWE demonstrated poor judgment in signing Randy Orton for the 3rd installment of the film."

The rep adds, "Despite Randy's popularity, the fact that he was dishonorably discharged from the USMC made it inappropriate for him to be cast in this film."

The move will surely satisfy Cpl. Mike Vinn ... one of Randy's former unit members who was FURIOUS the wrestler was ever up for the role in the first place ... since Orton received a bad conduct discharge in 1999 after going AWOL on two separate occasions and disobeying an order from a commanding officer.

Orton was court-martialed and served 38 days in a military prison.

Before Orton was scrapped from the project, Vinn told TMZ, "I am disgusted that his face and the word Marine are being used next to each other -- real or fake -- because of the fact that he quit us, the country, and the Marine Corps. [Randy] in the role of a Marine is a disgrace to those that have worn and are wearing that uniform."
I bet ol' Ken Nedy is having a good laugh over this. Karma* just copped a squat over Orton's gym bag.

*the religious concept; not the big chick.

Well, i can see why people are upset by it, and I guess it's a right decision.
Also, I think WWE should use their film roles to promote some up and coming talents. Orton doesn't need this movie role. He's done a few WWE movies, so i think they should have given it to someone else in the first place. I wonder who they'll pick now? Can't be Cena or DiBiase. Riley perhaps? He's got that marine look about him, although he's not exactly tearing things up right now after he just got totally squashed by Lord Tensai on Raw.

Is this project going to involve a guy that uses his special training i.e. letterman jacket to storm frat-parties for the purpose of extracting semi-unconscious sorority pledges? 'Cuz that's the only Marine movie that I can picture Alex Riley in.

He was cast in a movie role ffs. American forces complain loads don't they? Correct me if I'm wrong but I've based that on this and Finlay's disgraceful firing. Chill the fuck out!
