First of all I really enjoyed the nexus angle on their debut night when they took out Cena & Punk, it was exciting and something that could have really been great if done properly. But WWE fucked it up big time and now it makes no more sense, here is why:
- Daniel Bryan could have been pushed big time if he wasn't released. I really think Bryan would have made Nexus more interesting because he is better on mic than Barett and I could genuinely feel he would have played the part of a heel much better. Just see how great he was when he told Cena 'you are not better than me' and spit in his face, he got so much heat and I actually felt bad for Cena, Bryan really played the heel part great that night. It made me really want to see Cena destroy him (yes I love babyfaces more than heels, unlike the rest of IWC).
- Second of all the Nexus makes no sense at all. Why can't Vince McMahon just fire them? Vince has more power than the Raw GM and can terminate their contracts, it makes no sense...
Now this worked with the Alliance BECAUSE Shane/Steph bought WCW/ECW and had the contracts of the Alliance, Vince did not have their contracts therefore he could not fire them, it made sense. And also the fact that he couldn't get them arrested because Shane/Steph also owned a part of WWF. It made a lot of sense as to why Alliance could not be fired just like that.
What does Nexus have? They don't own the stocks, they don't even own RAW. Why are they such a big threat, why can't Vince just fire them? This is very simple logic, I still don't understand why WWE has failed to explain why Nexus hasn't been fired by Vince.
Also why is RAW so threatened by Nexus, they are like 7 guys... seriously 7 guys?? Orton gets his ass kicked by 7 of them while Cena just stands there... okay. But what about the rest of the locker room, why can't they come to Orton's aid? During the alliance storyline the entire locker room would rush down and have a brawl.
I still don't understand, RAW has a huge lockeroom and they are getting bullied by 7 guys? 7 vs like how many 20?
Atleast with Alliance it was evened up, you had the same amount of guys in WWF and same amount of guys in WCW/ECW.
Nexus is at a huge disadvantage since WWE has both RAW/SD and yet its only Cena we get? Maybe it makes sense that the heel guys don't want to face Nexus, but what about the faces?
There is Cena, Mark Henry, Orton, Evan Bourne, Morrison, Bryan, Khali, Kozlov, Santino, Goldust, DH Smith, Darren Young, R-Truth, Yoshi Tatsu... thats like 14 faces... can't they just like beat the crap of Nexus.
It still makes no sense. What is Nexus fighting for? What is the purpose of this group? Do they want ownership of WWE? NO
- And last but not least... John Cena
Why is Cena so worried about Survivor Series? Okay so he can have Barret win the WWE Title, that way Cena gets freedom and then the next night he can challenge Barret for the title and have a triple threat with Orton. He can always win the title back. Whats the big deal really? He can also have Miz cash in MITB after Barett wins. It just makes no sense. Big deal if Barett becomes champion, he is gonna loose it again. Not like he is asking for the ownership of the company.
WWE has failed with its stables recently. They failed with Legacy... Rhodes & Dibiase were still nobodies after WM26. They failed with SES, Gallows is still a low carder, still the same guy. The only last stable that actually worked was Evolution.
I can write better crap than the creative, Nexus makes no sense anymore. Put something on the line dammit. I still laugh at the fact that Mc. McMahon did not fire them after he got his ass kicked.
