Agreed. They need to cut 1 more.

    I'd say 8 ppv's a year is good enough

I see your 8 and raise you to 10!

While I agree with lower numbers of PPV's, for building purposes, you also have to take in to account revenue generation. I would say 10 is the lowest number they'd run on. Although I can't see them dropping below 12.

They need to go to 7 maybe 8 ppvs a year. The money they miss on the removed ppvs will be made up by taking the time to build up good feuds. Then you'd have more people pay to see the pay off. I know they won't so J'll just say they need to get rid of Over the Limit and bring back BackLash. This would be the ppv to wrap up Wrestlemania stuff and start summer feuds.

11 would be a good number. Considering they now tape Tribute to the Troops as well. Than add all the 3 hr RAWs they do and 11 would be fine. 10 would be best, but 11 still gives the talent a bit more break time.

I'll drop it all the way down to 3 or 4. The build up to them would generate more buy rates for the few, and tv ratings would go up as well I think.

why is 11 good? they had 13 ppv's this year, next year it will be 12. That means you have an average of only 4 weeks to build up to a ppv. if you have 11 ppv's you have only 4 more weeks spread over the entire year. If you have 8 ppv's a year you have 6/7 weeks to build up a good feud so everybody is going to me interested what's going to happen on the ppv so more ratings.(ofcourse the internet streams ruin everything).

last year we had the HIAC ppv and 2 weeks after that you had Survivor Series. How can you possibly build up a feud in freaking 2 weeks?!

Couldn't you have just posted this update in that thread, rather than make another one?

Well since this one is most likely going to continue anyway, my thoughts: It's good that they've reduced their PPV schedule to one or two less than before. It gives talents a night off, and saves money for those who buy all the PPVs. But I wish it hadn't been Vengeance. They just brought that back, and it did decently. However, Over the Limit was only decent at best, and was pointless.
yeah, thanks for reminding me. I totally forgot that I posted that one already.

    Exactly what I thought!

True to you. It gives more credibillity to the suprise effect.
