wwe going back to 12 ppv's a year

As you can read on the news board of this site, wwe is going back to 12 pay-per-views a year. The victimised ppv is Vengeance which was used to be 2 weeks after Hell in a Cell...

    January 29: Royal Rumble
    February 19: Elimination Chamber
    April 1: Wrestlemania
    April 29: Extreme Rules
    May 20: Over the Limit
    June 17: Bragging Rights
July 15: Money In The Bank
    August 19: Summerslam
    September 23: Night of Champions
October 28: Hell in A Cell
    November 18: Survivor Series
    December 16: TLC

    Any thought on this??

I'd rather they had dropped Extreme Rules, Over the Limit or Night of Champions rather than Vengeance.

Extreme rules isn't really that extreme these days.
I've never really got in to over the limit.
Night of Champions has always been a farce to me. At a PPV every belt should be on the line anyway (IMHO).

Side note. The first NOC was actually Vengence: Night of Champions in 2007.

I totaly agree with that. There is no more extreme things in the WWE so this ppv has only its name for extreme !
At least they should rename it

You made a similar thread just a short while ago:
    http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/commun...light=schedule
Couldn't you have just posted this update in that thread, rather than make another one?

Well since this one is most likely going to continue anyway, my thoughts: It's good that they've reduced their PPV schedule to one or two less than before. It gives talents a night off, and saves money for those who buy all the PPVs. But I wish it hadn't been Vengeance. They just brought that back, and it did decently. However, Over the Limit was only decent at best, and was pointless.

Although I would have preferred them to drop, Over the Limit, I'm glad they've done this. It allows for much better builds in to the PPV's. The main thing that will benefit WWE though this year, is making the weekly show build in to the PPV's for conclusions. On too many occassion last year, it felt like the PPV's were building in to the weekly shows.

I'm glad they got one. I really didn't care which non gimmick one the got rid of. It makes sense that they got rid of Vengeance because it was the second ppv in October, even though it was one of better named ones

    Aww

I liked Vengeance. Get rid of Hell in a Cell and use it as a match like once per year.

I agree, also they should get rid of MITB and use it as a match at WM for both brands.

12 ppv's in a year is still to much for a good build up.
