*Kaige looks behind him, and smirks - turning back towards the pair of people standing in the middle of the ring.*
Kaige: But that just brings me to my next point - your path of growing up, your insurmountable, and honestly painstakingly, nearly impossible feats of human behavior, makes you seem like the god damn batman. I mean in just over a year, you read all those big books, you looked into law, medicine, and physics, things that it takes people YEARS to accomplish! And then, on top of that Batman, you become just that damn good in not one, not two, but THREE different styles of Martial Arts, and then ‘sharper than a tack’ at Chain and Mat wrestling - that’s, of course, assuming you weren’t already some unknown master of the arts - Batman. Pay attention, people - fourteen months. No, wait - my bad, LESS than fourteen months, and he could do each and everyone of those things - not to mention, get the rest of his posse on his side. On top of that, and unlike Bruce Wayne, I might add, was able to maintain a stable relationship with the lovely woman standing near him. Now, if that isn’t damn impressive, then I would not want to be the man that had to reach that obviously unattainable goal.
*Kaige begins the trek down towards the ring, his eyes focused on Amadeus Frewin, and his wife. Kaige tilts his head and looks at them both, before turning and walking around the ring. He walks towards the announce desk, and nods towards the announcers. He then moves on and grabs a steel chair from the ringside area, and slides it in the ring. Kaige can see Frewin eyeing it, and adjusting himself to stand in front of his wife. Kaige grabs another two chairs and slides them in the ring before getting in himself. He looks at Frewin, and then sets up the chairs; offering the lady a seat first, and then Frewin. Both accept, and Kaige sits across from both of them. *
Kaige: Now look, I understand, the previous places you worked at, didn’t work out for you. And hey, man, look - I’ve seen it happen all before. I understand. But look at it this way, I don’t care about your past. I don’t care about helicopters that exploded in your presence, I don’t care about your batman-esque learning curve, nor whatever arrangement you seem to have with the others that were out here with you. I don’t care, about your arrangement, if any, with the Board of Directors, the mysterious group of TWE runners. What I do care about, is someone who hasn’t been here in ages, who wanted to branch out, who left, and couldn’t find a footing anywhere else, coming back and trying to get the TWE Title. Now, I haven’t’ had the best year in TWE; a good feud with your buddy, Mr. Smyth, a loss against Scott Cage, a loss in the EWNGP II, but I be damned, if you are going to walk in, and get a shot at the TWE Title before me.
*Kaige Chamberlain adjusts the microphone in his hands, and leans forward, looking directly at Amadeus Frewin, ignoring his wife sitting next to him. He gathers his thoughts and looks directly into the eyes of the man sitting across from him.*
Kaige: Day in and day out, whenever the Powers that Be give me an assignment, I go out and do it. Whether it’s being in a match, being in a title match, cutting a promo, or sitting out here, face to face with someone like you, I go out and kill it. Day. After. Day. You’ve been away man, you’ve been gone, you ain’t been here, you ain’t been busting ass in the middle of this ring. I’ve been here, I’ve been working, I’ve been fighting for my spot, I’ve been out here being the best damn thing on the show’s, the best damn thing going for TWE, whether or not the BoD, or the former heads of this company want to realize it or not. For you to think that you are going to just walk in, and take my spot light, take what I’ve been doing, and turn it into something successful for you? That’s laughable, man. You may have Mr. Smyth and the rest on your side, but at the end of the day, man, I am more deserving than you.
*Kaige leans back and pulls his leg over his other one.*
Kaige: Your skill in various types of fighting, your intellect, it all means nothing because when you get in the middle of that ring, your ass is mine and everything you think you know goes out of the window. When you are in this ring with me, you are nothing - my friend. So if you want that title shot, get to the back of the line, and work your way up to the top. And then, once you’re there, you won’t have to worry about Darius, because I’ll be TWE World Champion, and well on my way to becoming the newest member of EWNCW Rage, or Inferno, and then top champion there.
*At this point, Mrs. Frewin leans over and whispers something into the ear of Amadeus, who looks at her and nods. He stands up, as Kaige Chamberlain looks at him, and adjusts his suit. He offers his hand to his wife, and then sets his microphone down. Mrs. Frewin stands up, and her and Amadeus begins walking off. Kaige stands up and watches as they head out of the ring; Amadeus holding down the ropes for his wife. Kaige adjusts his suit, as well, and then his hat. As Frewin walks away, Kaige runs his middle and pointer finger along the brim of his fedora and watches as Frewin and Mrs. Frewin walk up the ramp; arm in arm.*
