Quite a nice little arrangement, actually. I'm not getting rich doing it, but I make enough for special nights out with my girl, and I'm helping a fellow gamer in the process.
I've also had friends come to me looking to get a game they can't find anywhere, and they're often pretty shocked to find out just how much some of them go for. Like, a couple of weeks ago, a good buddy of mine inquired about a sealed copy of Mega Man Legends 2 for the PSone that I've got, and the look on his face when I told him it was $400 (which doesn't even include my mark-up) was all kinds of hilarious.
