Oh snap. Okami is getting an HD makeover for PSN.

Anyone here ever play Okamiden? Awesome little follow-up. Shame so many people slept on it. What they were able to accomplish in terms of scope despite the graphical limitations of the DS was quite the achievement.

Finished Metroid Other M, fun little game, but Samus came off as some whiny, brooding, baby obsessed moaner.

    Positives:

+ It's the usual Suda51™ brand of nutso, so that immediately appeals to me; I'm also a diehard fan of beat-'em-ups, no matter how repetitive they may get (I'm pretty sure all brawlers through time have gotten repetitive a couple of levels into their respective games, so it's just the nature of the beast, me thinks).
+ Arcade-like structure encourages multiple play-throughs. Lots of replay value for those interested in continuing on after the credits roll.
+ The aesthetics here seem lifted directly out of the No More Heroes world. It's almost as if Travis Touchdown could walk into the game at any given moment and it wouldn't feel the slightest bit out of place.
+ Fucking rainbows explode everywhere after lopping off the heads of a corralled group of zombies, making for one of the most hilariously twisted juxtapositions in recent memory.
+ Slither director James Gunn's writing is tonnages of fun. Lots to appreciate here for my fellow b-movie horror connoisseurs.
+ If you're one of those weirdos who gets erections from video games, then consider Lollipop Chainsaw the mother lode. Juliet Starling wears all kinds of barely there shit, and it runs the entire creeper gamut.
+ Awesome soundtrack collaboration from Akira Yamaoka and Mindless Self Indulgence's Jimmy Urine.

    Negatives:
    - Combat starts out clunky as fuck. Only later in the game through purchasable combos and the like do things really start to come together and flow more freely.
    - Way too short. There's just no excuse for a full-price, physical release, single-player title shipping with a campaign of 6 or 7 hours.
    - The vulgarity begins to wear it's welcome out early into the game. You can only hear the main character get called a "whore" or "slut" so many times before it passes the point of straight-up misogyny.

    So, yeah:
The usual must-play for all those who worship at the altar of Suda51™. Non-believers, though, would probably be better off renting or waiting for the inevitable price drop.

Overall, sounds fairly awesome (All it's missing is a quick Bruce Campbell cameo)

Say my name and his in the same breath, I dare you to say they taste they same.

Bought the Unchartered dual pack, and other than a few parts that fucking took me forever to beat, it's been a fun game so far.

Walking Dead episode 2 is set to be available tommorow, and for the same price as the last one. Good times.

Yeah Okamiden was a great game for all its DS limitations.. I loved the story and the drawing of japanese characters were way easier than the original game.. My only problems with the game was that there was too many gates to other sections of the map (I wish that the open areas were more larger) and the repetitive feeling of the fights.. Besides that its a steal, especially for the going price these days, you can probably find it within $14-$16.. Not a bad price for a great game..

I grabbed Dawnguard yesterday, and I used it as the perfect reason to start a new character in Skyrim.. Mounted combat is still overrated though, it reminds me of Dynasty Warriors a little bit. New dragons, monsters, and a story where you pick between a war of Vampires and Werewolves.. You turn into this bad-ass monster if you become a vampire, not that the Werewolf isn't a bad-ass monster in the game, but if you're a completionist, then i'm pretty sure you already had the chance to become a Werewolf in the original Skyrim game (The Companions).. There's more items to create for the Elder Scrolls Blacksmith, I haven't had the chance to make any new items yet, but i've seen them in the list of things to make, while I was smithing on there (I didn't have the new ingredients to make the new stuff).. The game is supposed to be like 15 hours of new material but as I said before, I made a new character, so im about to get back into everything all over again..

Got Mortal Kombat in the mail yesterday from Gamefly. Badass.
I'd rather have nothing than have a lie.
