WWE just dropped him.
Here is how i always thought they should end takers career...
Say this year or one coming up, taker finally loses at wm to a big heel..
Lets say punk beats him this year for example...
Punk rides it out and talks about how he was the only one to beat taker at wm...
Next wm is coming up and punk makes sure to remind everyone of what he did the year before...
during is big profile match the lights go out and taker costs him the match...
from then on you could play it off that punk is haunted by undertaker for the rest of his career at wm...
It would be a cool way to use taker here and there and his memory would always live on...
Undertaker Vs HBK I was amazing. Better then HBK II and HHH 3 at WM....my opinion. Plus a record of 20-0 that is also good. I think he should manage The Ascension who are in (NXT)
If The Undertaker is done in the ring I never want to see him again. He has had a career that few will ever be able to replicate, he is one of the all time greats and has nothing left to prove. If he starts managing some random guy it will tarnish his legacy. Taker isn't a manager, he is an ass kicker.
The only non-wrestling role I could see him in is another ministry type role, only one where he doesn't really wrestle anymore.
He has stolen the show in the last 4 Wrestlemanias.
I would love to see him have one more title reign and then retire undefeated at Wrestlemania, however I dont know if he would be up for a full time schedule.
Undertaker should only be the manager of them all, to heal his body
Kane gies after singles titles
Ascension go after tag titles
I would like to see The Undertaker manage too. And I have an idea.Quote:
But I think keeping him as a manager type role will be pretty good! I think if he goes WWE need a new dark character and the Undertaker could help this... So I was thinking of having the Undertaker have an aprenetice that he could say he has been training showing him the way of the dark side perhaps?
What about a big strong Undertaker-esque character who wears a mask and a disguise? I like the idea of masked characters like early Kane and even the Suicide character from TNA (for different reasons) but mainly because of the feuds that they can inspire. I loved the moment when Kane put a mask on The Undertaker and then Paul Bearer thought The Undertaker was being taken away in an ambulance.
Like the Suicide character, the masked Undertaker-apprentice could have good points because it could use the internet. The internet fans could be debating who it is under the mask and have a good idea. You could have wrestlers calling out others saying they were him, like Daniels/Suicide. Or a group could beat down the character only to have him come out and reveal himself as The Undertaker himself and choke-slam everyone in the ring. I think with Undertaker involved this type of character certainly could work.
I think if anything The Undertaker will have more of a backstage role within the company then anything else. I would be fine if he decided to hang it up right now. He's done a helluva lot for the business and the company. If the man is banged up and can only put on dinky matches he mine as well hang them up. Taker to me is a guy who wants to go out there and really put on a great performance and not just go out there and go through the motions for the hell of it.
I wouldn't mind seeing Taker in backstage role/managerial, but he should leave the in-ring competition. For me, there's no better, most iconic ending for his career than this:
However, it's up to him to decide. If he still can go, fine, but I hope he is in an acceptable shape, I don't want to see him almost unable to wrestle.
If hes hurt and WWE is having major concerns over his condition, then I agree that it's time to hang up the boots. And the gloves. And the jacket. And the mascara. However, if Taker is ready to have at least one more match before calling it quits, then I would hope for this to happen:
It doesn't have to happen at Wrestlemania 29. Have Taker skip Wrestlemania 29 and if hes in better condition, we will most likely see that match happen at Wrestlemania 30 where Taker works his last match and what better way to do it then on the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania?
sorry, but if this business is ever going to evolve, guys like taker, hhh, stone cold, hbk, rocky, foley, need to stay the hell away.
they had their time, its over, walk away. do these men not see what hogan and flair have become? each of their legacies are tarnished because the joke each has been come as a result of not walking away when they should have and stayed the fuck away.
true, they are good for a sedimental pop every now and then, but i do not want to see them in ring or competing for a title...
