The hit of the night were the Chocolate Crackles (which my wife thanks you for introducing her to. She loved them) and they were gone virtually after they were served. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any of the Australian beers you had on your list, so we stuck to the cheap and easy route with Coors Lt, but the girls managed to finish off a few bottles of Yellow Tail (I know, it's not the best, but it did have a Kangaroo on it! lol) I think this was one of the better themed dinner events we have hosted and everyone got a kick out of getting to horribly mangle the Australian accent. It's even better when you consider just how bad our southern draw is and then picture one of these country boys trying to mimic their best impersonation of the Croc Hunter.

Alright buddy boy; I will say that the party was a success! I went with the meat pies for the main dish and gave it a bit of a twist by adding chunks of sweet potatoes and diced carrots. I made about 24 of them (I had to borrow some smaller pie tins from my mother, but they worked nicely) and was left with 1 for lunch today. Pretty good considering there were 5 couples at the party. They were small enough for a single serving but they packed such a great taste that everyone went for seconds!
  3. It was the 'Willis and Doodleberries' bit wasn't it? :P
  4. I was just manscaping my 'down under' and it actually made me think of your things to know about Australia thread. That was weird, but at least now you know I think about you while I'm fondling my willis and doodleberries

I'll look into the list of wine, but do you have any suggestions for beers (outside of the typical American answer of Fosters) that would be a good go with some good times?

Bringing Meaning Back To Tired, Old Titles

by Robstar on 11-25-2013 at 08:20 PM
Way back when I was a lad, each title meant something special and individual in it's own right. Granted, there were fewer, but each one represented a certain tier and level of accomplishment and herein I think, lies the answer.

WWE needs to reestablish a level of ranking where certain guys are only involved in one scene at a time. For instance, if you are in a tag team, you should rarely,

Can Anyone Convince Me Why.....

by Robstar on 10-25-2013 at 03:30 PM
....Paige will make it on the main roster??? I have my doubts.

For starters, she's English. American audiences are notoriously hesitant when it comes to deciding on how they feel about any wrestler not from North America. Think Cesaro, think ADR, think Sheamus, think Regal, think any Japanese wrestler. I'm going to go right ahead and say it, a lot of wrestling audiences need to be lead
