Who's the leader of Aces and Eights?

Rate this Entry
Hey guys, I'm Musti and I'm not your average american wrestling fan. I'm actually from Sweden and this will be the first time I'm posting on this site. I've got my personal wrestling blog that I'll share with you at the end of this column. Let's begin shall we...

I've been quite intrigued as to who the leader of Aces and Eights is. Here we have a group of bikers that want to destroy the TNA roster and siege control of the company. But the question is, why? What's in it for them? I've been thinking of some possible names, both shocking and also questionable. But in my mind, TNA management are not fools, they want to keep the fans guessing as to keep this storyline exciting and full of questions. Now I have decided not to put the obvious names on my list such as Eric Bischoff and Jeff Jarrett. The reasons are far too obvious and it would be a huge letdown if either of these men were revealed as the leaders. Not to mention the fact that TNA would recieve massive criticism for the lack of creative ideas.

Now, let me reveal my list of possible suspects...

1) Bully Ray

This one might have been one your minds but hear me out. In my estimation, just about the majority of the wrestling fans were expecting Bully Ray to turn on Sting at Bound For Glory and reveal himself as the leader of the group. But TNA didn't play that card. Instead they surprised alot of people and kept him face while Devon was revealed as a member of Aces and Eights. Now however, it seems they are trying to convince the wrestling fans that he's indeed a face and against the biker gang. I for one, do not believe so. In my mind, Bully Ray is gonna reveal himself as the mastermind behind all of this and cause havoc in TNA.

2) Scott Steiner

This one is a bit of a surprise, as we haven't seen Scott Steiner since he was released in May of this year. He has gone on Twitter and called out Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard and basically called them, well, alot of things. He has also revealed private information about Bischoff, such as a female stripper having lesbian sex with Bischoff's wife. He also revealed how he appeared in court for tipping the stripper too little and going to court for it. As of now, he is reportedly fighting TNA in a court battle over money that he should have recieved while he was still wrestling with the organization. I admit to siding with Steiner when he went on his mad Twitter rampage, but a part of me tells me this is a work. Since Bischoff is a firm believer in the term ''Controversy creates cash'', he might have planned this with Steiner in order to make it seem like they are at odds. If I'm correct, they might reveal him at Lockdown, since they decided to continue with the storyline for another 6 months.

3) Vince Russo

Yes. That Russo. The same Russo that booked David Arquette to win the WCW title, turned Goldberg heel, and basically was the major reason why WCW closed down could be the leader of Aces and Eights. While he is no longer writing for TNA, he is only a consultant. I for one, believe they might even bring him out there at Lockdown and as the crowd are getting goosebumps to see who the leader is, Vince Russo takes off the mask and smiles at the crowd with a huge grin while the arena erupts with boos. This has to possibly be one of the most shocking reveals in TNA history. The amount of heat Russo would get would be unimaginable. It would be THE highlight that would possibly put TNA on the map. This man is arguably one of the most hated personas in wrestling history. From the fans, to the wrestlers, he is even more hated than Hulk Hogan. This reveal would get everyone talking and the critics wouldn't be able to predict this one.

These are the people I believe are possibly involved with Aces and Eights. One thing I am sure of is that once the mask comes off, it better be a big name. If Bischoff or Jarrett's the leader, then this entire plot is nothing more than a huge flop.

Now, please note that I've basically written this in my personal blog, but this is kind of a reshare for those of you who haven't read it yet. I have written other columns on my blog. You can check it out at If you like what you have seen so far, bookmark my page and I'll keep writing. Any input, whether positive or negative would be greatly appreciated as I've recently started this project of mine. I'm a huge wrestling fan and finding people in my country with the same interest as me is hard to find. Thanks for reading!

The leader of A&E is Kurt Sutter aka the director and producer of Sons Of Anarchy. But I can tell you it's not Scott.

Well, I'm not sure if the Scott Steiner thing is a work. He would make a sad leader to the group anyway. And Vince Russo? Let me just say, I hope not. I hope he's as far away from this as possible.

However, Bully Ray, I can see. But I think TNA might wait and see how things go since he seems to be growing into a top face right now. They may capitalize on that instead.

I did notice that the end of Impact showed Sting and Kurt Angle in the ring as the other TNA roster was still fighting off A&E, they where kind of just standing around in the ring. Probably means nothing.

I think it can be either Kurt or The real Out Law said, Kurt n Sting are just standing (though I personally feel Sting cannot make a good heel) so itcan be Kurt..

I wonder Joe is least involved in any of the A&8s segments...

I honestly don't think Kurt or Joe can be the leaders. It doesn't make sense, seeing as Kurt just a few months ago turned face. And what reason would he have for bringing in a biker gang and basically trying to take over TNA? Doesn't add up.

As for Joe, he's currently in a feud with Magnus with the TV title in the balance. It would look foolish and awkward to have him feuding with Magnus as the face/tweener while being involved in the biggest storyline in TNA right now. If he were to be revealed as the leader, then the entire thing would be a complete mess.

Like the artical states, it HAS to be someone big. And unpredictable. No, it can't be Jarrett, Bischoff, Hogan, Dixie or anything like that. And I'm sorry, but Steiner and Russo would be let downs as well. Even Bully Ray would be too predictable. They need someone big, and probably (seemingly) not involved with TNA. The NWO worked cause it had Hall and Nash legittingly coming in to "take over". I think a perfect world, as much as I would prefer to see him in WWE, how cool would it be if it was Jericho. He would be a perfect mastermind type. But don't see it happening. Going back to NWO, how about Nash? Most of A&E are big guys and we know Nash's feeling's on big men making the best heels? But can Nash's knees hold out for one more run? Edge would be another HUGE coup, but we all know his retirement was legit and don't see him turning his back on WWE (even with the reported current conflicts). DDP? Whikle could be someone who's been away from the limelight for awhile, I think they would need someone younger (which is another reason why don't think it's Jerrett). I'm at the point where I'm rambling and creating my own blog so I'll stop and admitt it could be anyone but hopefully someone big. Like HHH; following Vince's footsteps in putting the compitition out of bussiness! lol
