Booking Ryback to the top of the WWE

Rating: 5 votes, 5.00 average.
Here is how I'd book Ryback to the top of the WWE: PPVs underlines w/opponents in bold along with championship type.

HIAC beats Miz for the IC title.
Survivor Series: Championship scramble-defeats Miz vs Otunga vs Brodus Clay vs Kofi....title changes throughout the match w/champion given the last entry in the championship scramble. Comes in and dominates holds the belt in the air standing over 4 bodies on the mat.
TLC beats Brodus Clay in a tables match for the IC title. Why two faces going at it for the IC title? Clay is having a movie coming out and they plan on changing his gimmick. Dominating Clay and taking him out for a while gets Ryback over for beating a big man. Also gets Clay off TV to debut a new gimmick when he returns.
Royal Rumble beats Christian and retains the IC title. Why Christian? Returning Christian wants his IC title back. Plus he is a very good heel. Why not in the Rumble match? Don't want him to get eliminated to lose steam. Need to keep the momentum of Ryback going with Ws.
Elimination Chamber beats Mark Henry and retains IC title. Mark Henry tries to remind everyone that he is the most dominant man in the WWE before he left and still is. However, Ryback proves he is now after defeating him. The question is asked who is left?
WM29 beats Big Show to retain his IC title. It was bigger than the title. It was about who was the most dominant man in the WWE. Big Show took it as a slap in the face to hear some people believed it was Ryback. If Show is going to be on WM, it should be for a good purpose. No man I want to see Ryback face more than the Big Show. WM29 would have a huge moment in the midcard we'd all remember that involves the IC title.
Extreme Rules beats Big Show in a Last Man Standing match to retain his IC title. Big Show claims it was a fluke as always for fueds to continue through the ppv after Wrestlemania. Ryback keeps the big man down for the count of 10 to put the IC title prestige through the roof.
Over the Limit DQ'd for using the chair on Del Rio in IC title match. The plan is from post WM to face other main event talent and former world champions. Never pinned or submitted, but Del Rio brought the chair in the ring and Ryback used it on him which is why the ref stopped the match.
No Way Out retains IC title in a Steel cage match vs Del Rio via pinfall. Del Rio claims he used the title on purpose because he took Ryback to the limit. To make sure no DQs, countouts, or interference.....put them inside a steel cage. Leaves Del Rio and his manager laying as he leaves the IC champion.
MITB loses the IC title in a triple threat match. Rhodes/Scholars decide they want gold and decide to find a way to get the title off Ryback is by doing it as a tag team. Sandow leaves as the IC champ thanks to Kane. Kane distracted Ryback while the pinfall happened. Music hit and he walked out at the top of the ramp. Ryback locked eyes with him attempting to meet him face to face losing the IC title w/o getting pinned.
Summerslam wins by DQ thanks to Kane yet again getting involved Rybacks match. Ryback faced Sandow for the IC title, but Kane came out and pulled Ryback out of the ring attacking him. Takes him out of the IC title picture without getting pinned or submit. Fued w/Kane is intriguing.
NOC beats Kane via countout. Why did Kane attack Ryback? People began considering him a monster. He believes he should be the only monster in the WWE. Which is why he targeted Ryback in the first place. During the match, Kane was down with Ryback building momentum for his finish. Lights go out and lights came back on with no Kane in site. Ref gave the match to Ryback after he counted Kane out because Kane wasn't in the ring for 10 seconds.
HIAC beats Kane inside HIAC. Kane explains his absense at NOC. He claims it wasn't the right place, time, and it wasn't the right match. He wanted it inside the HIAC. Ryback of course beats him.....
Survivor Series Sheamus & Ryback are the soul survivors of their classic Survivor Series elimination match. GM names Ryback team captain to teach Rhodes Scholars and other heels a lesson. Sheamus was put on the team made by GM. Sheamus took it as a slap in the face not to be named captain. He attacks Ryback after the match using the brogue kick.
TLC beats Sheamus in a tables match. To up the stakes of the match, GM promised that the winner of the match would receive the last entry in the Royal Rumble match.
Royal Rumble wins the Royal Rumble match to face any World champion he wants to face.
No Way Out beats Dolph Ziggler for his world title oppurtunity at WM 30. Why Ziggler? He claims GM was favoring him by not only naming him the captain of that team at Survivor Series, but to add the #30 entry to one of his matches.
WM 30 beats Wade Barrett for the world title. It doesn't really matter who it was rather it be Bryan, Punk, or whoever else. Figure it should be a least establish guy like Barrett so he could have matchups vs Punk, Bryan and Cena on other major ppvs. Why world title? It doesn't really matter which, but WWE had been the one with the most prestige. Time that it got some love as well. Who defeats Ryback? Don't know, maybe some young gun comes up and does it similar to how Warrior defeated Hogan. Or maybe, Cena does it at WM 31? LOL!

So how many people has he hurt?

No one surprisingly....reason why he faced a bunch of indy wrestlers before facing the normal superstars on the roster.

Hell In A Cell : Beats CM Punk with a decisive, non-controversial pinfall.

Survivor Series : Beats CM Punk once again, despite Brock Lesnar trying to interfere in favor of CM Punk. CM Punk and Brock Lesnar viciously assault Ryback after the match and leave with smiling Paul Heyman mocking Ryback.

TLC : faces CM Punk in a chairs match with the stipulation that if Brock Lesnar is even seen at the ringside, CM Punk will be immediately disqualified. Beats CM Punk to retain the title going into Royal Rumble to face The Rock.

Royal Rumble: A good back-and-forth match between Ryback and Rock. Towards the end, Rock hits the Rock Bottom but Ryback kicks at two, Rock goes for the People's Elbow, but Rybacks catches him and hits the Slam followed by his finisher for the pinfall. After the match, Ryback offers his hand to Rock for a handshake and they end up embracing each other. Rock gives a pat on his shoulder and lifts his hand.

Meanwhile, after losing the title match, Rock enters the Rumble match. The final three are Rock, Brock and Cena. Rock eliminates Brock, and an outraged Brock with the help of Heyman, pull Rock from outside to get him eliminated. Cena wins the Rumble.

Elimination Chamber: Ryback and Punk start, and Ryback pins Punk before the third particpant enters. He pins every 5 of the other competitors in such a way that there are never more than two competitors at one time in the ring.

Meanwhile, Dolph Ziggler successfully cashes in his MITB briefcase after the end of the EC match for World heavyweight Championship.

Between Elimination Chamber and Wrestlemania XXIX : On post-EC Raw, John Cena says that it has been long time since he's been the WWE Champion, but it's been even longer since he's been the World Heavyweight Champion. So, he thinks he should challenge Dolph at Wrestlemania. Ryback comes out and says that he's beaten Punk, he's beaten Rock, he's beaten Lesnar (he's one of the EC participants) - but a win against Cena will finally cement his legacy. He requests Cena to choose to face him at Mania, which Cena declines. At subsequent SDs and Raws, Ryback does everything to make Cena choose to face him, he begs and pleads, and when Cena is still set to go for the Heavyweight Championship, Ryback suggests Cena is scared of Ryback and choosing the easy way out by going for Ziggler. Cena, at this point, says he changed his mind and will challenge Ryback at Wrestlemania, and looks at Ryback and says "Be careful what you wish for". Before Mania, Ryback debuts a new submission manuever and a new finisher.

Wrestlemania XXIX : John Cena vs Ryback is the main event. They put on a good back-and-forth match, and for the first time in his reign, Ryback looks like he might possibly lose. They both hit finishers after finishers, only to get near falls after near fall. Ryback kicks out of AA, only to get into STF, but manages to break it by getting to the ropes. Cean also kicks out from what looked like a sure pinfall. In the end, Cena goes for the AA, but Ryback counters it into his newly developed submission hold. Cena doesn't tap out for almost 2 minutes, and he passes out, and the ref calls for the bell. Ryabck celebrates in the ring, then with the crowd, but comes back to the ring to check on Cena. Cena has recovered, and in a "passing-the-torch" moment, lifts Ryback's hand and gives him a hug.

It's hard to buy the undefeated thing when Skip Sheffield has a few losses no? They are the same guy aren't they?

Point I am getting at is it would be nice for the WWE not to treat fans like idiots and acknowledge who these guys are, where they came from and book them accordingly.

What they should have done with this guys is to have him tear through the old Nexus crew so that he could seperate himself from the pack. Then give him the slow build.

Yea, but it is a different character. Several guys are given different characters. Look at Umaga's undefeated streak, but we all knew he was Jamal from 3 minute warning. Same goes for Kane when he was that dentist for that Summerslam match vs Bret Hart. I could go on, but you know where I'm going.

Where to go from there? Build him up, don't just put him in main events right away. That is why some fans don't like wrestlers because they are pushed way too fast. Make him earn it. Cena has other guys we'd all love him to face. Save for a later date. Such as Rock/Cena 2, Cena vs Austin, Cena vs Taker all matches I'd like to see in Wrestlemanias.
