Rate this Entry
HEY EVERYONE. I'M BACK WITH MY IDEA ON WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON THE 1000TH EPISODE OF MONDAY NIGHT RAW. HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY.

Show opener: A vignette at the start on the history of Monday Night RAW since its beginning in 1993. Highlights with Superstars like Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Razor Ramon, Yokozuna and then eventually The Rock, Stone Cold, Kane, Mankind, Triple H and lastly, Chris Jericho, Edge, Christian, Randy Orton and John Cena. And highlighting spectacular moments such as title changes, alliances and betrayals.

They get a shot of the arena with the thousands of fans and a new set as Burn It To The Ground is playing in the background. Michael Cole and Jerry The King Lawler welcome us to the 1000th Episode of RAW. Cole reminds everyone of a little bit of RAW's history and that Mr. McMahon is in the building and is doing job evaluations for everybody. Just then, out comes Good Ol' J.R. Jim Ross! J.R. comes out with his cowboy hat and a bottle of his BBQ sauce. He gets a huge reaction from the fans. He greets Lilian Garcia, Jerry Lawler, Booker T, Josh Matthews and even Michael Cole. Cole doesn't even make a comment on J.R.'s return and the first thing that J.R. says is that Cole needs to do a better apology.

Vince's music hits and out comes the Chairman.
Mr. McMahon comes out and does the classic McMahon walk. He welcomes everyone to the show and says that tonight is Raw's record breaking night. He then goes on about how the landscape of RAW is changing and that starting from tonight, Monday Night RAW is PERMANENTLY going to three hours. Vince gets straight down to business and says he is also here for evaluting the jobs of his WWE Superstars, starting with a man named John Laurinaitis. He calls out "Big Johnny" and the People Power music hits.

Johnny comes out on his scooter with Eve and David Otunga. Eve helps Johnny up the steps as Otunga holds the rope down for him. As soon as all four are in the ring, Vince asks Otunga to leave the ring. Otunga hops out and heads to the back. This leaves John and Eve. Vince then announces that Eve will no longer be Johnny's Executive Administrator. He asks her to leave and she does. He then tells Johnny that he has been keeping an eye on how business has been running since becoming both RAW and SmackDown! General Manager. He then reminds Johnny that no one really likes him and the way he runs RAW and that he has the right mind to fire him. He says he's not going to do that. The crowd boos. Vince says Johnny has to prove that he deserves his job. He says he can't wrestle a match because he is injured and that he can't get down on two knees and beg for his job like he made The Big Show do, so Vince says there is only one alternative outcome, Vince McMahon's Kiss My Ass Club is going to get a new member and his name is John Laurinaitis and if Johnny refuses, then he will be FIRED. The crowd erupts as Johnny gets a distraught look on his face. Vince exits the ring and walks back up the ramp as Johnny is still looking distraught in the ring. We go to commercial.

Match No. 1 - Alberto Del Rio vs. Intercontinental Champion Christian (Non-title)

Back from the break and out comes Alberto Del Rio for the first match and he is announced by Ricardo Rodriguez. Out next is the champion, Christian. He gets a positive reaction from the crowd. Christian and Del Rio lock up and Christian gets the early advantage until Del Rio slaps Christian in the face. Christian then takes Del Rio down and starts hammering into him. Del Rio rolls out of the ring and Christian follows. Ricardo steps in Christian's way but Christian pushes him aside which allows Del Rio to get a cheap shot in on the champion. Del Rio then tosses Christian into the steps and rolls back into the ring. He taunts to the fans as the ref makes the count. Christian rolls into the ring and Del Rio begins to work on the arm. He wraps it up in the ring rope and wrenches it. Christian then quickly rolls Del Rio up for a quick two count and Del Rio comes back with a kick to the shoulder. Del Rio applies a hammerlock as Christian screams in pain.

Del Rio then picks Christian up and slams him down with a scoop slam with his arm around his back. He makes the cover and only gets two. Del Rio sets Christian up in the corner but Christian side steps him and hits a quick back kick between the ropes. He then clothelines Del Rio a couple of times and hits a bulldog. Christian Irish Whips Del Rio and hits him with a flapjack but its only good for a two count. Christian then goes to the second rope and hits a Missile Dropkick for another two count. Christian tends to his arm as Del Rio boots him in the head. Del Rio then hits a Double Knee Armbar. He then sets him up for the Cross Armbreaker but Christian counters it into a Killswitch attempt. Del Rio counters again and shoves Christian into the turnbuckle and hits the Backstabber for another two count. Del Rio begins to get frustrated and goes for the Cross Armbreaker again but Christian locks his hands and rolls through into a Jackknife cover for a near fall. Christian then hits an Edge-O-Matic for another near fall. Christian goes for the Spear but Del Rio kicks him in the arm which makes Christian land on his back. He applies the Cross Armbreaker out of nowhere as Christian screams in pain. Christian gets a foot on the ropes and the ref begins counting.

Del Rio breaks the hold at four and tries to get Christian into the middle of the ring but Jericho holds onto the rope. Christian slides onto the apron and hangs Del Rio up on the rope. Ricardo tries to intefere again but Christian side steps and tosses him into the steel steps. Christian goes back onto the apron and tries for a Springboard Sunet Flip but Del Rio drops down into the pin of his own and tries to hold onto the ropes but the referee catches him. Del Rio turns back around after arguing with the official into a Spear by Christian but Del Rio kicks out just in time. Christian goes back up and hits the Diving Reverse Elbow drop. Christian signals for the Killswitch but Del Rio counters it and hits an Enziguri for another 2 count. Del Rio goes up high but Christian jumps on the rope and cause Del Rio to lose his balance. Christian goes up on the second rope and flips Del Rio over his shoulders. He then turns around and hits the Frog Splash. 1-2-3! and its over.

Winner: Christian via pinfall at 9:04

Christian celebrates in the ring and Cody Rhodes comes out of nowhere and attacks Christian from behind. He hits a big kick to Christian's arm. Cody tries for the Disaster Kick but Christian ducks it and hits a Killswitch on Rhodes. He grabs the title belt and poses for the fans as we go to commercial.

We're back and a Classic RAW Moment video airs. It shows highlights of the first RAW episode from January 11th 1993.

We see Mr. McMahon backstage in John Laurinaitis' office. Johnny walks in with Otunga and pleads with Vince not to make him kiss is ass. Vince says he is not here for negotations, he's here for job evaluations and for Monday Night RAW.

Match No. 2 - United States Championship match
Santino Marella (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero and Jack Swagger

Santino comes out with the U.S. Title. He gets the cobra ready and poses for the fans. "EXCUSE ME" is shouted a couple times and out comes Vickie Guerrero. She's about to introduce Ziggler but before she can say he is going to win the title, Ziggler comes out and walks in front of her. She gets confused again as Swagger follows. Ziggler hops in the ring as we go to commercial.

The bell rings and he and Santino lock up. Ziggler quickly gets Santino in a headlock and takes him down. He arm drags Santino a couple of times, ducks a right hand and dropkicks him, which actually gets Ziggler a couple of cheers. He covers Santino but only gets a one count. Santino comes back with a couple of right hands and goes for another clothesline but Ziggler counters it and hits a German Suplex for a two count this time. Ziggler goes for a Zig Zag early but Santino side steps it and hits a Reverse Atomic Drop. He Irist Whips Ziggler, ducks him with the splits and hits a quick Hip Toss for a two count. He goes for a DDT but Ziggler spins out of it and hits a Sitout Facebuster for another two count. Ziggler tosses Santino out near Swagger and Vickie and Vickie slaps Santino. The referee sees this and forces Vickie to head backstage. Ziggler starts to shout at Vickie and the referee triest to hold Ziggler back. With the referee's back turned, Swagger charges at Santino and hits a Running Knee Lift. Ziggler taunts the fans again as we go to a commercial.

We're back and Ziggler has Santino in a kneeling headlock. Santino tries to fight out of it but Ziggler slams his head into the mat. Ziggler hits a running boot to Santino and covers and gets a two count. Ziggler whips his hair and hits a flipping neck snap to a seated Santino. He then hits a big jumping elbow drop for a near fall. He hits another jumping elbow drop but this time, he does sit ups and then covers Santino who kicks out at two and a half. Ziggler goes for the Fame-ass-er but Santino drops him on his back. He then hits a couple of quick clothelines and a dropkick. He charges in the corner but Ziggler puts his feet up which sends Santino on his back. Ziggler goes for the pin using his feet on the ropes but the referee catches him. Ziggler argues with the referee and Santino rolls up Ziggler for the two count. Santino hits a quick scoop slam and then a running diving headbutt for another two count.

Santino goes to the top rope but Swagger is on the apron. This allows Ziggler to run up to the top and hit a big Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. Santino kicks out in the nick of time as Ziggler begins to get frustrated. Ziggler goes for the Zig Zag but Santino holds on to the rope. Santino hits a quick neckbreaker. He grabs out the sleave and goes for the Cobra. Ziggler ducks it and tries to lock in the Sleep Hold. Santino fights out of it and hits a Santino Stunner. He covers but Swagger has the referee distracted. Santino hits Swagger with the Cobra which knocks him off the apron. Ziggler goes for a roll up and gets a two count until Santino rolls back with the roll up of his own and Ziggler kicks out just before the three count. Ziggler immediately hits the Fame-ass-er and covers but Santino just gets the shoulder up. Santino starts smacking the mat in frustration. He goes to pick up Santino but the champion counters it into a Small Package for another near fall. Santino runs at Ziggler but Ziggler hangs Santino up on the top turnbuckle. The referee tends to Ziggler as Swagger gets back up on the apron and hits a big boot to Santino knocking him onto the mat. Santino stands up and Ziggler hits the Zig Zag! He covers and gets the three count! We have a new champion.

Winner and NEW United States Champion: Dolph Ziggler via pinfall at 15:12

Ziggler leaps over the ropes and grabs the belt off the timekeeper. He holds it up high and taunts Santino and the fans. Vickie Guerrero comes back out clapping and screaming. She goes to hug Dolph but Dolph avoids it and climbs on the second rope and poses some more. He then leaves the ring and heads to the back with the title.

We get another Classic RAW Moment video. This time, it shows D-Generation X invading WCW on April 27th, 1998.

We go to another commercial.

We are back. "Are you ready?" DX's music hits and out comes Road Dogg Jesse Jamesand X-Pac to a huge ovation of the crowd! James says that he is glad to be here on the 1000th episode of RAW. He then goes on about moments in DX's history back in the late 90's such as the WCW Invasion which they just saw and the time they impersonated the Nation of Domination. James then said it wouldn't be a DX reunion without a few people. He introduced The Bad Ass Billy Gunn! Gunn came out to a huge pop from the fans and said that DX is what got him noticed in WWE and he wishes that he could relive those days again. X-Pac so far has not said a word or gone to even pick up the mic. Gunn then says that there is still another couple of superstars that need to be there. They do the arm point taunt towards the stage.

Triple H's music hits! Out comes The Game in a suit and tie with his hair tied back. Hunter has a confused look on his face....well this is awkward. He asks what the hell they are doing. Pac finally says something and asks Hunter "Are You Ready?" The crowd pops at this. Hunter then goes to tell them to stop. Gunn then shouts out "No! We said: Are....You....Re--" The Game grabs the top of the mic and cuts Gunn off. He then says that they are not doing this. He then takes out his hair tie, he undoes his tie and takes off his jacket. He then grabs the mic and says "I'm supposed to ask that question." The crowd pops at this. He then undoes his shirt and takes it off. He has an old DX shirt underneath.

Triple H then asks St. Louis "Are you re--" He cuts himself off. He then adds that if they are doing this, then they are gonna do it right. He says there is one more man that needs to be in the ring. HBK chants fill the arena. The Game points to the stage while looking down at the microphone. HBK's music hits and out comes Shawn Michaels! Michaels so far has gotten the biggest pop of the night from the crowd. He struts out in jeans and an old DX t-shirt. He then poses for the fans in the ring as his fellow DX members applaud him. He hugs James and Pac. He then hugs Gunn. He has a small stare down with Hunter but then they hug as the fans cheer. HBK takes the mic and says he's glad to be back and couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the night than with a D-Generation X reunion. DX chants fill the arena as Michaels' wants to get down to business. He hands the mic back to Triple H. They line up side by side and Triple H asks the question everybody wants to hear. "St. Louis, Are You Ready?" The crowd does a small chant. Hunter then says "This is the 1000th episode of RAW, we expect better. We said: Are you reeeeaaddyyy??" The crowd cheers so loud that it makes Michaels' pop sound like a whisper. Hunter adds then for the thousands in attendance, for the millions watching around the world and for Monday Night RAW's near twenty year history, Lllllleets get ready to SSSSUCCK IIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!". HBK then takes the microphone. "And if you're not down with that, then St. Louis has two! Words! For ya!" The crowd chants "SUCK IT!" as D-Generation's music hits again with all five men in the ring pose for the fans. They then line up side by side again and do the four DX Crotch Chops as fireworks explode from the ring posts. We got to another commercial.

I am tired of them always opening shows with talking. They need to do what they did back in the old days, open the show with an awesome match to get everyone pumped and then do their talking points.

If it is true that they are bringing back old talent they should start the show with an old guys team like the New Age Outlaws or even a newer team such as the Usos vs Kofi + Whoever they have as his partner now or Sin Cara vs Kofi(guys that can put on an entertaining match. Give them a good 10 minutes, then start the whole mcmahon/ace thing.

Think to mark the 1,000th Raw it Would be cool to See Rock Come out during the DX segment and maybe one last DX VS Nation Of Domination match Almost Owen is gone (R.I.P) Henry is out injured and D'Lo Brown works for Tna

Enjoyed the blog. I'm sure it'd be a purely "MARK OUT" worthy moment if they use the original RAW IS WAR music for this episode at the beginning and throughout. It's really pumping and ass-whooping compared to any of the later themes.

I love the DX Reunion. Awesome. Not sure about the Kiss My Ass Club. I think they're a little too image friendly for that.
