Top 10 Themes of ALL TIME (MUST READ)

Rating: 4 votes, 1.25 average.
Hey guys Knox here hoping all is well. I did a few Top 10 blogs and made the mistake of saying "OF ALL TIME" but this one here is no mistake. This list will be controversial but will be worth it. Hope you all enjoy. We all know the best theme today in wrestling is Alex Riley's theme by Downstait "Say it to My Face"

Top 10 Themes of ALL TIME:

10. Jake "The Snake" Roberts - Snake Bit
This theme fit his character so well. When I watch WWE Classics and see Jake Roberts I literally get chills at how awesome his entrance walk goes with his theme and character. Great sinister music. Hall of Fame?

9. Cm Punk - This Fire Burns
I sometimes feel like a hypocrite because I used to be the biggest Cm Punk mark ever. When he debuted this beautiful theme in 2006 in ECW I was hooked and was a lifelong fan. Then they changed his music to that dumb ROH crap theme that is a pretty cool theme theme but nothing compared to "This Fire Burns".

Then Punk would talk about how he hated Twitter but than transitioned himself into a "Twitter-Holic" and pretty much built a trend of running down people over the internet and developed this bad attitude. I miss the old Punk that used this theme. Other than that, I will point out that Orton used this first for about a month.

8. Kane - Slow Chemical
Why they cut this theme from Kane is beyond me. One of the best themes ever and music pieces I've ever heard.

7. Gangrel - The Brood
Easily one of the most badass themes of all time and I probably should have ranked this higher. I was a huge Gangrel guy back in the day.

6. Edge - Metalingus
My favorite of all time. Man Edge had some horrible themes in the WWE but when he finally switched to this, the wait was worth it. This song pumps me up to this day.

5. Chris Jericho - Break the Walls Down
I love this theme, its had many variations but at the edn of the day, the lyrics and artist never changed. Some people miss the countdown version, personally, I like it better without the countdown. Great theme that's been around over a decade and still used today.

4. Triple H - Time to Play the Game
People, listening to this theme in your headphones or through the television does it no justice. When you hear this theme live in the arena, the hair on your back will stand up. This theme is super badass, just amazing.

3. Diamond Dallas Page - Self High Five
Never was a DDP fan but my goodness I love this theme. Great great song.

2. Razor Ramon - Bad Boy
One of my favorite characters of all time. His theme was completely sick, not too many better than but this but one......

1. The Four Housemen - Horsemen
I might get heat for the previous 9 but I don't think its a fan in the world that won't agree with the Horsemen being the greatest theme of all time. Its has that legendary feel to it. Greatest theme of all time. Greatest Stable of all time.

Honorable Mentions:

Rob Van Dam - One of a Kind

Kurt Angle - Gold Medal

Hulk Hogan - Real American

Alex Riley - Say it to My Face

Chris Benoit - Whatever

Maven - Tattoo

Ted Dibiase Jr. & Legacy - Its a New Day

D-Generation X - Break it Down

Nexus - We Are One

Hope you all enjoyed this. No I did not forget The Rock, Stone Cold, John Cena, or The Undertaker. I never was a big fan of their themes or any variation. Thank you all for reading, please leave feedback, I had a hell of a time doing this. Thanks guys and check out my track below. Be safe guys and see ya next time. Until then.

    Couple of points :-

    -good list...
    -CM Punks should be higher...
-Ramons shouldn't be in the top 10...
-DDP's smells like teen spirit it...
-Benoits would be in my top 3...the point where the guitar comes in...EPIC...
-Kane would be number 1 or 2...
-Did not know how awesome gangrels theme actually was...
    -kool blog...

Agree with Akbar, Razor Ramon's Theme should be no where near the top 10, its just horrible. Razor's only claim to fame in wrestling is, being in the ring when Shawn Micheals wrestled a ladder at Wrestlemania 10. (Im not Shawn fan either.) no offence.

    Any thoughts on adding.
    Sting - Slay Me.
Randy Orton - Burn In My Light.
    Bret Hart/Hart Foundation 97.

    Good Blog all being said.

While I do like all you have listed I think a lot of them re not deserving of top 10.

A few that are deserving are

    Bret Hart - Heart Attack
Stone Cold - Hell frozen over
    NWO - Rockhouse
    Rick Flair - Dawn
    Undertaker - Grim Reaper
    Legion Warrior - Unstable

good list. i love the fact that Metalingus and One of a kind (Edge and RVD) were on or at least honorable mention. im a huge kane fan, slow chemical was always his best theme.

Yeah... this is really a "my 10 favorite themes list," as most are forgettable at best and horrible at worst. Whether you like them or not:

    Stone Cold
    Hulk Hogan
    Macho Man
    Ric Flair
    Ted Dibiase
    Roddy Piper

Had the most iconic themes in WWE history, easily recognizable and synonymous with WWE's most popular periods, as well as being associated with legends of the industry.

I should say though, that while I do like the songs you put in your list, as they are great songs, for being the greatest in history, they have to represent something much more than just having a cool riff. I still think Edge's, Punk's, and Kane's statuses as legends or future legends leaves much to be desired (never found Kane all that impressive or innovative and I thought Edge's induction was a knee jerk reaction to his sudden retirement), but I'm probably getting off topic.

The Horsemen themes are both fucking godly, however.

Hey Knox, what's up man. I like most of the list, especially Jake Roberts and Razor Ramon (those themes were off the charts). But I don't know if DDP's music deserves to be on this list, considering that it's just a 100% rip off of Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit. Not to mention, self high five just sounds like something you do when you don't have any friends. Anyway, take it easy man.
