WrestleMania 21 - Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle
This was one of the biggest matches in WWE History. It was the first time HBK and Kurt Angle went One on One. It all started at the Royal Rumble. Michaels eliminated Angle from the match and Angle re-entered the ring and attacked Shawn and eliminated him, despite already being eliminated. Michaels went to SmackDown and challenged Kurt to a match at WrestleMania. On Raw, Michaels won a Street Fight against Edge and after that, Angle came out and attacked Michaels again and accepted the match proposal. These two wrestled for nearly half an hour. Michaels hit Kurt with a low blow but the referee did not see it. Michaels laid Kurt out on the announcer table and leapfrogged over the ring ropes out onto Kurt. Kurt locked in the Ankle Lock but Michaels made it to the ropes. He then hit Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere but Kurt kicked out of the pin. Angle then locked in the Ankle Lock again. Michaels tried to kick and shove Kurt off but Angle maintained his grip and Michaels was forced to tap out, giving Angle the win.

WrestleMania 22 - Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship
Shortly after Eddie Guerrero passed away, Rey vowed to win the World Championship. He dedicated his match in the Royal Rumble to Eddie and despite being Entrant No. 2, he outlasted 29 other men, including. Triple H, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Kane and Bobby Lashley. Mysterio set the record for longest time in the Royal Rumble at 62 minutes after last eliminating Orton. Orton then confronted Mysterio on SmackDown about giving Orton a shot at Mysterio's Title Shot. Orton provoked Mysterio by saying that Eddie went to hell. Mysterio put the match on the line against Orton at No Way Out, which Orton won after using the ropes for leverage. Although he lost, Teddy Long added Mysterio to the match making it a Triple Threat. At the event, there were two situations where Kurt was supposed to win. He applied the Ankle Lock on Mysterio and Mysterio tapped out but the referee was distracted by Orton, who was trying to bring in a steel chair. The second time, Orton was trapped in the Ankle Lock and he tapped but the referee was distracted again, this time by Mysterio. Mysterio hit a modified 619 on Kurt from the outside and rolled him up but Angle kicked out. Orton then tossed Mysterio out and hit the RKO on Angle but Angle kicked out again. Orton went for the RKO on Rey but Angle hit the Angle Slam on Orton. He covered but Orton kicked out. He then tried it on Rey but Rey countered it with an Armdrag that sent Angle outside. Mysterio quickly dropkicked Orton on the ropes and hit the 619. Mysterio sprinboarded and connected with the West Coast Pop and pinned Orton to win the World Championship for the first time. After the match, Mysterio celebrated with Chavo and Vickie Guerrero.

WrestleMania 23 - John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship
After Triple H was injured at New Year's Revolution, Michaels wanted to focus on his singles career again and wanted a shot at the WWE Championship. Michaels entered the Royal Rumble and eliminated Edge and Orton but was last eliminated by The Undertaker. Michaels then challenged Cena for the title at WrestleMania but Mr. McMahon instead made him and Cena vs Rated RKO (Edge and Orton) on Raw. Cena and Michaels won the World Tag Team Championships and after Undertaker chose to face Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship, Michaels challenged Cena again. McMahon made Michaels vs. Edge vs. Orton, which Michaels won and earned the right to face Cena at WrestleMania. Cena and HBK teamed up again to defeat Undertaker and Batista at No Way Out when Cena pinned Undertaker after Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music followed by an F-U. Michaels finally turned on Cena and hit him with Sweet Chin Music a week before their match. At the event, Cena and Michaels wrestled for just under half an hour. Michaels took control early, working on Cena's leg. He then hit Cena with a Piledriver on the steel steps outside of the ring, which busted Cena open on the top of his head. Back in November of 2007, Ric Flair came out and it looked like he was gonna announce his retirement, but instead refused to and said that we would die in the ring. Mr. McMahon came out and told Ric that the next match he lost would be his last match, whether it be by Pinfall, Submission, DQ or Count Out. Over the next few months, Flair would overcome superstars like Randy Orton, Umaga, Triple H, Mr. Kennedy, William Regal, MVP and even Mr. McMahon himself. On Raw, it was announced that Ric Flair would be inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2008. He would be inducted by Michaels, who was challenged by Ric to a match the night after at WrestleMania. Michaels accepted, even though he knew if he were to win, Flair would have to retire. These two fought in a grueling 20 minute match. Michaels went for Sweet Chin Music but hesitated, which allowed Flair to capitalize and lock in the Figure Four Leg-Lock. Michaels made it to the ropes and eventually hit Sweet Chin Music, but Flair kicked out in the nick of time. After numerous failed Roll Up attempts by Flair, Michaels attempted to put Flair through the announcer table with a springboard moonsault but Flair moved and HBK crashed ribs first through the table. Even though it looked like Flair was going to win, Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music for the second time. Instead of covering Flair, he went to the corner of the ring. Flair started to cry, while staggered to his feet. Michaels told Flair that he was sorry and that he loved him and hit Sweet Chin Music for the third time before pinning Flair and ending his 35 year career. Michaels quickly left the ring with boos from the crowd and Flair thanked the fans and received a standing ovation from the crowd.

WrestleMania 25 - Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker
Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have had numerous memorable matches in the past but up until WrestleMania 25, they had never fought on The Grandest Stage of All. Out of all past challengers for the Undertaker, HBK was not one of them until. The Undertaker had never beaten The HeartBreak Kid One on One before. HBK always came out on top, whether it be a clean victory or due to interference. For the first time, Undertaker was the underdog heading into his WrestleMania match. HBK had gotten into the head of The Undertaker, hitting him with Sweet Chin Mustic numerous times in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania. Fans started wondering if the Streak would come to an end. Michaels came out in a similar entrance to Undertaker, but instead in a white hat and a white trenchcoat with white gloves. These two wasted no time in having the match start off at a fast pace. Michaels feined a knee injury, which made Undertaker let his guard down and it lead to Michaels gaining the advantage. After numerous Submission holds, Undertaker blocked HBK's Sweet Chin Music and they took the action to the outside. Michaels attempted a springboard moonsault but Undertaker stopped him. Undertaker attempted to do a suicide dive over the top rope but Michaels moved and pulled the cameraman into the path of The Deadman. Undertaker was nearly counted out but made it back into the ring at the count of 9. Michaels eventually hit Sweet Chin Music after he escaped out of a Chokeslam attempt but Taker kicked out. That triple threat match was too short to even be proclaimed the best match for Wrestlemania 22. I think one of the two hardcore matches would be a good selection or HHH vs Cena.
