What Do You Think TNA Will Become?

Rating: 2 votes, 3.50 average.
First off all, Yes this is a long Blog, but I covered a lot. And if you are a TNA Fan, you'll like it.
Second of all, I would like for you guys to message me, and tell me what you guys would like me to write my up and coming Blogs about. Please do that for me!
Thirdly, This is a partial response to "Wrestlinggrl77".

TNA: Let me first off just say that I am a TNA Fan. I prefer them over the WWE.

What do you think TNA is at the moment? What do you think TNA will become in the future?

Storylines: What do you guys think of the Storyline? I personally think they are improving. They are still not the greatest, but they are getting better. To me, they have more character to them than WWE Storylines do. I personally think that anything they do with Abyss, is amazing. Same with Team 3D. They just bring more than anyone. And, I know that we have only seen one night of it so far, but I like the TNA Attacking ECW Storyline as well.

Writers: Who is to blame for TNA's, not so awesome Storylines? Of course! It's Vince Russo. He has killed every company he has worked for. He has no place in the wrestling business. Why do they keep him around? Don't they see that he is no good? Does Dixie not hear the crowd chanting "F*ck You Russo!" almost everynight? There is a reason for that you know. Seeing as how he is the only Writer for TNA, he is the only person to blame. We need change TNA! Do us wrestling Fans some good!

Dixie Carter: Who is the better boss? Vince McMahon, The sole owner of the multi-million dollar company that is crumbling, the WWE? Or Dixie Carter, The President of the improving TNA? I got to thinking, isn't it funny that Vince McMahon own the WWE and does everything too? We don't hear from the President of the WWE, John Laurinatis is his name, right? Yet, the Jarrett Family owns TNA, but we never hear about them. Sure we use to hear of Jeff Jarrett being the owner, but then the Storyline got him out of being the owner. All we hear about is Dixie Carter, the TNA President. I think she is wonderful. She does so much to make us fans love the TNA Product. She is one reason why TNA is on the building blocks.

Hulk Hogan: What are your thoughts on Hulk Hogan? Do you like him? Do you hate him? I know, currently, a lot of people do not like him anymore, just because he went to TNA. I do not blame him though. I love Hulk Hogan and I always will. What was the WWE doing with Hogan? Nothing. What is TNA doing with Hogan? Everything! Does he bring Ratings to TNA? Yeah, they've upped a little bit. He is a good asset to the company.

Eric Bischoff: The new Executive Producer of TNA. Do you guys think he brings something to the Tables of TNA? I do. Bischoff brings everything. I love Bischoff. He knows good wrestling. He knows good TV. I think Eric Bischoff has what it takes to make TNA the worlds number one wrestling company in the United States and around the world. Look what Bischoff did for WCW. He is what made the company better! He is what carried the company, when Russo was planning a funeral for it. Like his WWE Song said, "I'm Back, And I'm Better Than Ever. Got A Nack, For Making Things Better. Face Facts, Cause Your Opinion Don't Matter. This Maniac, Is Gonna Step On Whoever. This Time, Get In Line, Cause I'm Gonna Make Some Changes. Kickin' Ass, Taken Names, Treatin' Household Babies. But Now I'm Back, The Boss of You Morons. To Never Count Me Out, Is One Thing You Can Count On." He will make TNA a better place.

ECW Storyline: People LOVE the Original ECW. TNA saw the brutal years of the "New ECW" From WWE that a lot of fans call "WWECW" They will make this ECW Storyline work. And the thing that I like the most about it, is that TNA Stars Turned on ECW and that will keep it going. Where do you guys see it going?

Superstars: Do you think that TNA has a good roster? I do. They have some of the greatest Superstars of all time. Of all time!

Knockouts: They have AMAZING women wrestlers. They aren't afraid to get dirty like the WWE Divas are. God forbid the WWE Candy Women break a nail. Your thoughts?

Here are some of the greatest:
(TNA ORIGINALS STILL WITH THE COMPANY)
*Abyss

*Mick Foley (@Wrestlinggrl77: He is one of the most loved superstars in the world. He brings to much to TNA. People love him so much. They would not appreciate him leaving or being released by TNA)

*Orlando Jordan
*Rhino
*Ric Flair
*RVD (@Wrestlinggrl77: Agreed)
*Shannon Moore
*Tommy Dreamer (@Wrestlinggrl77: Same As Foley)

(OTHER TNA STARS)

*Jesse Neal
*Kazarian
*Magnus
*Max Buck
*Rob Terry
*Samoa Joe (@Wrestlinggrl77: Whether he is a face or heel, he is always vicious, so it doesn't matter.)

Hi, I liked your blog and it's good to see that there are other wrestling fans who are rational and open to conversation and debate.

    When you say

"Desmond Wolfe (@Wrestlinggrl77: People could care less if this guy was on TNA or not. He does not appeal to anyone, anywhere.)"

I have to disagree. TNA has a big following here in the UK and it's important for the company to have a roster that reflects it's audience. Desmond Wolfe and Douglas Williams are solid technical wrestlers which for me is enjoyable to watch with all the other styles. Plus they're British which is good from my perspective. I'm not saying that Wolfe is Championship material but he's a good mid card guy. I also liked Douglas' run as X-division champ to begin with although I do concede its about time to give it to someone else to see what they can do with the title.

Just a few opinions from a British perspective. Arcadesteve.

Desmond Wolfe/ Nigel McGuness is an excellent wrestler (when he's not being jobbed out), the fact that his character is more that of a cockney hardman instead of the normal "toff Brit" is a big plus too.

I wouldn't say they have "amazing" womens wrestlers either. Sarita and Hamada are clearly their two best and Angelina Love has improved immensely but they currently have NOTHING to compare to the Gail Kim/Awesome Kong feud.

I'd also question your assessment of Hogan- ratings initially increased very briefly around his debut but quickly dropped off again. At the moment they're up slightly because of the ECW angle. He brings nothing to the table and I certainly don't want to see him 'approving' people every week and telling us how he's "taking TNA to the next level brother!"... because he isn't, they should us the 10 minutes he gets to put on an X-Div match.

Likewise Bishcoff, he made WCW work because he had a billionaire behind him, and even then he only really achieved anything with one great angle (The Outsiders/NWO)...

Me? I'm a big TNA fan, but I'm not blind to their problems, the biggest of which is the removal of an actual X-Division from TNA programming.

love the blog. its true that hogan brings nothing to the table. bishchoff i dunno know bout because the man is a quiet genius it was actually him who came up with the elimination chamber match. i personally think tna should go with what got them noticed in the first place which was the x division and truly great athletes like aj styles, samoa joe, alex shelly or chris sabin. also there tag teams are worth watching look at beer money.

also the likes of mr anderson and jeff hardy along with rvd are good to watch they are not held back by big name players any more. here in the uk i think tna ratings are bigger than wwe which is good because i am a massive fan of tna and like to see more believeable story lines and consistency with them

    Thanks for the compliment!
I agree with you 100%, Desmond Wolfe is a great, talented wrestler. I'm coming from what a lot of other Fans are saying. He was doing great. Nice Storyline with Kurt Angle, Awesome Storyline with Abyss, but unfortunately he has already went down in the Rankings. That's all I mean by that. He hasn't done anything, "great" in TNA probably 2 months. With Douglas Williams as the X-Division Champion, I can see where you're coming from, because you like the whole UK Champ thing, which I am fine by, but I think Williams is a bit bigger for that Division. He would get the TNA Television Title if you ask me!

Desmond Wolfe is a great and Talented Wrestler, but to a lot of people, he just doesn't tune in right with them. I enjoy watching him on TV and think that he could help carry TNA. They just need to utilize him better than they have been. He does not need to be in a Tag Team with Magnus, he needs to be in Singles Competition and possibly win the TV Title. For me, not the TNA World Title, but 2nd to Best.

With the Knockouts, The Women that are "Amazing" to me, are:
*Angelina Love (You are right. She is improving a lot)
*Daffney (Brings the Hardcore Style to the Knockouts)
    *Hamada (Great wrestler)
    *Sarita (Great wrestler)
*Taylor Wilde (She is not as good as Hamada and Sarita, but she is near there, to me)
The others are just Eye Candy.
(I can NOT stand Lacey Von Erich)

I completely agree with you on Hogan. I think that he shouldn't get as much Mic Time, but I feel that he does do something. Personally, I don't think they scored a 1.15 this week only due to the ECW Storyline. I think people realize that they are improving.

With Bischoff, Are you talking about Ted Turner? If so, he really didn't have that much to actually do with the company. He just owned it and kinda sat back. He didn't know what the hell was going on.

Also, What do you mean "the biggest of which is the removal of an actual X-Division from TNA programming."?

I agree with you on Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff. Hogan is acceptable in his TNA run, and you're right, Eric is a "quiet genius".

The X-Division is the greatest Asset that TNA has. I think they should focus on them, but still focus on the TNA Heavyweights too.

TNA's Tag Teams are also amazing, when utilized right.
I think the Beer Money/MCMG Feud is awesome. I also love Team 3D.

Mr. Anderson, Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam do give TNA the extra kick for me. They bring a lot.

And last but not least, The Ratings in TNA are bigger of there in the UK. You guys understand Wrestling! lol. People over here just think, "Oh, Well, WWE's been around longer so they're better!" But what they don't understand is that WWE was in TNA's exact position, years and years ago. I too am I massive TNA Fan and know in my heart that TNA is the better of the two companies. Thanks!!!
