  1. WWE Summerslam 2013 Review

Bray Wyatt vs. Kane: This was the worst “Inferno match” ever, which is saying something because they have all been pretty horrible. The stipulation is just one of the many wacky Vince Russo on LSD concepts that just will not perish. The fire blistering in the air after every bump became a very irritating nuisance, and I am not sure if the fire played a massive factor in this contest feeling disjointed ...
  2. Thom's Crystal Ball: Summerslam 2013 predictions

We're just days away from the 26th annual Summerslam PPV, so now's as good a time as any to deliver my official predictions for the outcomes of the night.

Kick-Off Show: United States Title match
As much as I hate to admit it, this could be the end of Dean Ambrose's reign as US champion. Rob Van Dam has been given a huge push since returning at Money in the Bank and handing him ...
  3. Somebody will be turning heel at SummerSlam

    Who will it be?

John Cena will be defending his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam on Sunday, August 18th and my gut feeling (along with pretty much several members of the IWC) tells me that somebody will be turning heel after the match is over and so, let's dissect the likelihood of who will be entering the dark side after "The ...

  4. Random Thoughts: An Arduous Raw 8-5-13

Well, after two straight TNA blogs it’s time to pick on RAW, which tends to get a bit exhausting. Usually I do these blogs one of three ways:

    1) Take notes on all segments shown and organize them in a blog later.
    2) During commercial breaks, write on the segment that I just saw. When you see my blogs timestamped an hour after the show ends, this is usually what I’ve done.

  5. Top 10 shoulda wins: Summerslam

A new edition of top 10, but it isn't moments or matches? What is shoulda wins? The build towards an event tells you this guy has got to win this match, but it ends up being some stupid DQ, countout, or some stupid finish holding up the big win til the following month. Let us be honest, we have saw those moments a lot at big events. So why don't I do moments or matches? I've done both best and worst ...

  8. Booking the perfect SummerSlam card

The "Biggest Party of the Summer" hits Los Angeles for the fifth straight year as SummerSlam commences on Sunday, August 18th at the Staples Center.

And so, what should be the perfect SummerSlam card? Here's what I think should happen:

    PRE-SHOW MATCH
    INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
    KOFI KINGSTON VS. WADE BARRETT
This seems like a possible feud as ...

  9. What would the WWF do if Austin’s career ended at Summerslam 97?

On the 23rd September 1992 ‘Stunning’ Steve Austin had a match with Masahiro Chono which ended kinda badly for Chono. A botched piledriver from Austin nearly put Chono on the shelf permanently.
Ironically 5 years later the same thing happened again with Austin except this time it was him receiving the botched piledriver from Owen Hart. Despite feeling numb for a short period of time, Austin ...
  10. My WWE Pay-Per-View Line Up

Hello everyone, this is my first blog on this site and I thought I'd start off with something simple: my idea for what I believe to be a decent pay-per-view schedule for WWE.

First off, I went with 10 PPVs. I didn't work out the exact dates on the calendar or anything, but my reasoning was that this would allow for longer build-ups, especially for the major PPVs like 'Mania and Summerslam. ...
