I wouldnt say 'Botched' so much as I would 'rushed'

    *Triple H in charge - it's not happened. It's just a storyline.
*Larger attention to the term wrestling - saying the word a few times doesn't change anything. WWE is still focusing on entertainment and less on wrestling.
*Fresh angle for Cena - He's exactly the same as he's always been and STILL holds a WWE title.

Some of the more important things missing from your list would be...

    * Decent, intelligent writing - WWE have failed to deliver, going back on everything they built up and returning to the same formula.
    * An end to the PG era - Still waiting.
    * A Cena heel turn - I'm hoping this is one thing we will get out of this botched angle, but I'm sceptical.

    Agreed! why are there so many bashers out there. This angles been great and has given a hell of a lot to all fans. just look at what the ICW was asking for before this angle;

*Major push for Punk inc wwe title run - this has happened
*CM Punk to stay in WWe - again has happened
*Triple H in charge - oh look, it happened
*Big push for Zach Ryder (god knows why) - instantanious push
*More serious push for Dolph Ziggler and new music (read a few blogs/discussions on this) - HELLO!? anyone notice this?
*Larger attention to the term wrestling - Lots more word drops referring to this including a few from CENA.
*Fresh angle for Cena - He's been getting more aggressive, swearing threatening John Laurenitis etc

All this is just the beginning, its not always going to go the way you plan it out in your head. Sometimes being disappointed is necessary, our guy wont always win. For that fact, that threat, I'll be watching SummerSlam

The WWE should've played the "Chris Benoit" card. Vince should've notified staff not to mention his name and write him out of history.

Your match idea was awesome too. The whole fake Screwjob thing was the most staged crap I seen in my life. You were right about the post match. They should've had everyone oncluding the time keeper, the annoucers, Justin Roberts and everyone in a state of shock. Also Punk's music shouldn't have been played after winning.

The whole little tournament should've lasted until Summerslam.

The only issue is that this angle is sooo large that it should come to a climax at Wrestlemania but that can't happen seeing as Vince wasnted to be a dumbass and book a match between the Rock & Cena that no one really cares to see.

Your idea is pure brilliance my friend. Keep blogging man I'd love to read more of what you have to say
Thank you very much for the positive feedback and I'm really glad you like my idea. I guess it is "outside the box" for WWE and they might get a lower SS buyrate by keeping Punk off TV, but big moves like this pay off ten fold or more in the end.

And yes, I agree, the tournament should've continued until summerslam where the new champ is crowned. Maybe they could've had more contenders too, including some underdogs who fall short, but prove themselves by going further than anyone expected. It would make the title mean much more, whereas it really seemed like a rash decision to rush through a tournament and then put it on Cena again, even though he'd lost it a week before.

Anyway, thanks again for the inspiring words mate.

It's not already botched. I agree that Punk could've done with more time away and some more outside interviews, but showing up to ROH with the WWE title? Vince would never let that happen. The amount of publicity you suggested would be too risky for Vince I reckon. They could've had Cena get the 'new' WWE title at Summerslam or later down and give it some credibility, maybe up to survivor series where The Rock would screw Cena, CM Punk would be champ leading up to Wrestlemania, and it would finally ad some new on screen action for Cena and Rock for their main event match
