This guy got injured yonks ago, when was it, just after Summerslam? That's the last time I remember seeing him. I used to quite like him, had a bit of personality and could go in the ring fairly well and had a different look to most. Any word on when he will be back?

Last I heard was, he had his last surgery, and he expected himself to be back soon. He was spotted in Tampa on crutches.

I have it in my head that he was green as goose shit and being stiff as hell with everyone, (especially with his lariat) and the whole reason he's injured is because some vet stiffed him back.

Did this actually happen, or did I dream this up or something?

He broke his ankle in a match against the Hart Dynasty. Apparently he's had three surgeries on it.

I actually really liked this guy too. One of the better ones from Nexus.

agreed. also his finisher he performed on NXT (Over Shoulder Boulder Holder) was sweet. Sheffield will likely have Brodus Clay- like re-debut and some squash wins on Superstars.

He's a pretty big dude, and came down hard as hell on his ankle.

Honestly, who cares about this NXT jobber? The only reason they brought him in is because they saw a tall guy with muscles. He needs a few years back in the minors before anyone should care where he is.

Harsh, but so is the truth.

I really hated this guy.. He looked like a really stupid mofo.. Boring as hell.. and annoyed me with his accent..
He'll never be anything more than mid-card..
Damn I hated him.. but not in a heel way..

Cornfed Meathead was it?

Anyways, whenever you're nickname has "Cornfed" in it, you are fucked.

I heard Vince was really high on him when he was in Nexus so I expect him to make quite a big impact when he returns. I think he had pretty good mic skills for a rookie and was solid in the ring. He was defintely intense! Hope he gets the nod over Mason Ryan anyway.

I don't see the big deal about him, but that is just one fans opinion. However I would say with Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, and Henry up there in age WWE does need another big monster type guy.

If they need another monster they should bring Eli Cottonwood and Andrew Jackson back
