It was on my desk and the remote fell into my dogs water bowl, i quickly took it out as soon as it fell, but it was fully submerged. I know the rice trick with phones, however i have no rice.

Instead i used paper towels surrounding it, completely and sealed it inside a Tupperware container. Any other ideas?

Buy a new one. Put the water damaged controller in the new controllers package and return it.
